Horrible intro music..

Wow...I never heard of that rule before.

At least 3 balls must past the headstring in nine ball on a break.

Yah they do that in the Mosconi.

And my prior statement I will let the music pass beings he is some odd percent deaf.. it would be nice to be able to shut off sound in an environment like that!

they probably just picked something and figured he wouldn't notice. "oh, they played music when I walked in?" Kind of like a reverse rick roll.

It would surprise me if Shane could name a band.

The whole deaf thing kinda puts music low on the list. After the 100th time I rode with him somewhere and noticed he never had the radio on, it hit me.

I can be pretty thick sometimes.

Another example of thickness was a few years ago at the Open I was splitting a room with him and I asked him when he played the next day. It was some early match. Suddenly I had an epiphany...look at him and asked "How the hell do you wake up on time?" He takes his hearing aids out at night and cant hear anything so alarm clocks mean nothing.

He says "I leave the curtain open and the light wakes me up."

Like I said. I'm pretty thick sometimes.

Certain people in pool act like Shane has an advantage because he is deaf. They will usually couch it with some lame statement but a few really mean it. I don't think they ever really consider the cost of that "advantage".

its never the player who choose a song, its the producer or whoever is behind the whole show, trust me on that one.

I thought I remembered Mike Decahine asking us here about what he should have for his intro music last year...

I could be wrong, I often am.
