Hey! I resemble that remark! I was an English major. Hah.
He is from Philly. That's how they roll.
Wow...looky at Mikey getting all medieval on our arses . Those are some fine conservative principles you have adopted son, and relates directly to the "welfare" culture of society today. I knew deep down you were a closet conservative.
Unfortunamente, there are some primo pool players pissing their money away at the casinos rather than saving some dough and setting themselves up for the future.

Ok so there is abviously gonna be a big thrashing here against me but I really don't care. I just don't understand how pool players devote all there time to pool and believe they are so good, but yet they have zero money. They even go as far as posting threads looking for people to put the in tournaments, or money games. Am I missing something? If they play so good and pool is all they do, why do they need a stake horse or someone to put them in a tournament. It just makes no sense and it's kind of embarrassing if you ask me. So why are all these so called great players dead broke? And is it even worth trying to become a great player of being broke is your fate. I say get yourself a job and stop begging for sponsors and stake horses. I my self work 60 hours a week and I play pool maybe twice a week and I have never needed a stake horse or anyone to put me in a tournament, I gamble a lot and I lose more often then I win for sure and I always have money. I talk a lot of shit and if I make a game I play it, I don't travel I only play in philly area but I play almost every single person that comes threw and I take the worst of it all the time just because I wanna play and regardless if I win or lose, I still have money. BECAUAE I HAVE A JOB. So if more players get a job then there will be more money in pool instead of great players with no money to play always looking to steal or need stake horses. So if I'm wrong for pointing this out so be it. I just think it's sad that most top players are broke. And pool is never going to get anywhere if it continues like this.

Not all of us paid attention in English class.
If you fell behind in 3rd grade for whatever reason you never recovered unless. I was lucky to have a teacher who taught English as opposed to just punching a clock in 4th or 5th grade. I caught up.
So should I correct the spelling errors in the above post even though I can totally understand the intent of his reply? I think not. That would be rude IMO.
Arocdnicg to rsceearch at Cmabrigde Uinervtisy, it deosn’t mttaer in waht oredr the ltteers in a wrod are, the olny iprmoatnt tihng is taht the frist and lsat ltteer are in the rghit pcale. Thanks for the supportYou guys are bashing the wrong guy. Phillyviper is great for pool. I'm the guy that approached you in a Delaware county pool room one Sunday morning and asked you play a cheap race to seven of 9 ball before a Mezz Tour event. He didn't know me from Adam. You didn't lose that one. You took me 7-4. You play a nice game.
During the SBE my home poolroom was so crowded with out of towners and pros that a couple nights it never closed. It was phillyviper that got the action started and that was with Shane.
So his grammar isn't great but at least he has a good work ethic and he is great for the game. You will not find a better promoter for the game than him. You're bashing the wrong guy.
By the way he is a young guy that thinks old school. Good for the game.
Why the OP got negative responses is because this whole entire thread is a personal bash towards Mike Wong, IMO
The OP is just a hater who goes bust playing pool and now is mad at people with talent. That is what i got out of it anyway.
Maybe i am wong
-I think the OP has been misunderestimated.

Hahaha. I don't have time for grammar, I'm to busy working. Most of all the guys chirping about grammar have all kinds of degrees but there all unemployed. Go figure.
