I was thinking about potential matchups for Joe that would make it competitive and the name that came to mind was Fatboy. He is someone who has some degree of celebrity at least here at AZB and I know he participated in a ring game at the Derby Classic so I'm wondering is this a good matchup? What do you think? Would you like to see this as the next TAR undercard match? Philw

Nahhhh...Fatboy wouldn't care for all the attention.
Joe vs Fatboy would be a bad matchup. Joe would have the nuts with Fatboys level of play right now. Fatboy's back affects his level of play too much.
I think matching Joe up against anyone but a celebrity would be a bad idea. Joe would bring in a lot of people who would not normally care about watching pool, e.g. MMA fans, Fear Factor fans, comedy fans, etc. If TAR were to match Joe up against a famous Poker or Nascar driver that would bring in a tremendous amount of viewers for the match. And if TAR were to broadcast it for free, which I think I heard Justin mention, that would be amazing esposure for TAR.
Matching him up with someone only well known throughout the pool community would be a mistake, imo. If Joe's fans tune in, who aren't pool fans, they wouldn't want to see Joe playing someone they have no clue who they are. They're going to wonder why he is playing a no name.
It's an exciting prospect nonetheless however it turns out for TAR.
