I don't think so. I don't see any reason to donate until you decide to give up a fair game. After all you said I can't get there. I trust your judgement.
We can make our game gambling from the beginning and keep it so that it's gambling. You said you want to gamble and so let's gamble.
OR if you like I can send you a CTE user who is better than me and you can start even with him and work your way to what's "right" between you.
Tell you what ,you or Stan ,Gerry ,Dave have a game even on the BB or in one pocket. I'll take the break from Steve on a bb.
50 to 100 a game 1 hole. Or 200 dollar sets bb .
I won't ask to adjust ,take my ass whopping like a man.
Nob nob can have the whole rack . If I win he owes me nothing ,if he wins I'll give him a 20.
Too cheap. Sorry we don't play that cheap any more, waste of time.
If you want an ass-whooping I suggest trying craigslist. If you want to gamble then a fair game can be made with anyone if you're willing to. You said I can't get there so a fair game between us is not even and I don't understand why an honest guy would offer such a game in the first place.
If you want to bet $10,000 I hear that Mike Lalumiere is looking for a new horse.
Anyway this all has nothing to do with the topic.
The topic is how beneficial is an aiming system and you know that they are very beneficial.

OMG, the earth just stood still.....something we both agree about.....
Forget my personal opinion for a minute......cause that is just what it is, same as anyone else that says xxx system just works.....personal opinion.
Anything that helps you determine where you need to put the CB is of benefit. If it clicks with you and keeps you coming back to the table to play, it is of benefit.
The trick is learning what is and is not of benefit. This takes time, trying, this, that.....using x of this system, some y of that, not stroking like xxx does and so on, its a long list. It take time, quality structured training and practice.
But, there has to be a point where you search no more for what works for you. This is why some users of xxx can say it just works, and for them it is true. Again personal opinion.
If you keep trying this and trying that, you really searching nothing more. Until you stick to what works for you, you will never get the level of consistency that all pool players seek. ie seldom miss. At some point it is not the system used but how the system is used, hence the new type of CTE user after JB match.....seasoned CTE user. Great example of its not the system, but how the system is used.
Pool is incredibly simple, that's why it so hard. Simple in concept of what needs to be done, hard in execution of that need.
The biggest benefit is structured training and practice. There is a difference. Training would be like just doing one shot over and over. Practice is being able to do that shot in a practice game. There are days I spend about two hours just hitting single ball shots with different spin and speed just to see how and where the CB goes. That gets stored away for later use.
I will hit the same shot over and over with different spin and spin until I had enough and do a different shot and repeat.
Another is using all 15 balls rolled on the table and doing what I call carom, combo or bank. These are the only types of shots to be done in that session.
And so on. It is this type of structured approach to improving that will be of the biggest benefit long term, not any gimmick.
I think those that will only play for xxx amount or any amount for that matter are just to chicken to play anyone. It easier to blame the pressure of the bet for losing that losing when there is no pressure.
If you need xxx about to play to play your best, you really and truly not a die hard pool player, but a gambler that plays pool.
Your right ,were off topic...wonder how that happened.
Well it started with you saying you would bet Nobcity can't run a rack.

Where you located?
Get your story straight...I made that comment because of his remark .
What remark?
All I saw is that you said you would bet he couldn't run a rack and you know how the word bet triggers all sorts of emotions around here......
Did someone make you say that?
If you can play those guys even up, I'm not in your league. Give me a couple of years and check back. However, while I'm no ball pocketing machine, I can play and can certainly run a rack from time to time. I'd been practicing on my 9 foot Diamond 15 minutes prior to your post and ran the last rack playing the ghost. I've improved substantially in the past year thanks to Stan and Stevie.
I just wish I would have taken the game seriously 20 years ago instead of 2 years ago. I'm blessed to have my own table and to have the means to afford good instruction. My eyesight is still good and my hands are steady, so I still have some upside.
This thread should probably be in the aiming section which is filled with diehards on both sides speaking of how great or how useless. But I have used CTE that I learned from Stan Shuffett's first DVD..and it is a very good system (Stevie Moore and his son Landon use the Pro-One version of CTE and they are great players), I found it difficult for me to grasp Pro-One which is the advanced version (sighting visuals on cue and object ball and "pivoting" before getting down on the shot)...I've also taken lessons from Ron Vitello which he calls 90/90 which is a pivot based system as well where you move your entire lower body to center cueball which was very accurate on many shots and a valid system as well. And CJ Wiley's TOI happens to work extremely well after you get used to the correct strength of the stroke necessary to deflect the cueball a bit and then come back...when you are "in stroke" it definitely works.
Although most teachers (and some of the best ones) teach ghostball or contact point....basically if you have enough time to devote to a method of aiming...even the "hit a million balls" method you will improve. If you think you've peaked or are not improving and an aiming system will help you then getting the CTE DVD or the TOI DVD is probably the right way to go about it...and I disagree with an earlier poster, $30-$40 for 2 separate DVD's on 2 different aiming systems will yield you a pretty good ROI if you have the practice time.
The show me state. If you wanna play ...pm me .

BB= non-shotmakers can win
One Pocket= you still get rewarded by missing
"BB OR One Pocket" = whatever game where brains and not shot-making win me the money.
Heck, if that's the case, might as well play 1-hole on a snooker table. This is all hypothetical, but if we could - I'd try.
***PILING ON*** haha
Curious ,you have any videos of you playing?
