Very cool

Great looking piece of work you have there. Thanks for posting the picture of this nice cue with the neat wood.

That is one gorgeous piece of wood!! The cue is awful nice, too!

Is it heavy or light weight? What are the hit characteristics? It's very cool looking but how does it perform compared to maple or purpleheart? Thanks, Jim

So, Jack..... I didn't see you post what kind of wood it is. Looks like a Spalted Maple Burl, to me. It's awful beautiful, though.

So, tell us what it is. I'm curious.

Its one of those rotten maples so it had to be cored. I even core the stabilized woods. It has a nice hit - weight per the owners spec's - around 19oz. This was the most radical piece of spalted I have seen that could be turned into a unique cue.

That is just a spectacular piece of wood. And the silver ringwork really sets everything off nicely. Awesome job sir!

Jack,

You are known for the stunning wood you have used. Thanks for sharing this wonderful wood!

... And yep, I still have that Tad cue!

Take care,

Will
