How do i install a goldcrown 3?

Didn't the table have the Brunswick setup guide with it when you bought it used? You may be able to ask someone else if they still have the Brunswick setup guide that came with their table new, oh yeah, and ask them if they still have the left handed 3/4" wrench you'll need to tighten the frame to the leg pedestals with the 3/4" bolts that should be with the table stillegon said:

Egon there is no guide that Brunswick can offer you.Do a search in the mechanics thread and you should be able to find info on assemly.
My suggestion find a mechanic in your area and pay to have it set up correct.

On topic, I emailed brunswick about 4 years ago and got an install manual emailed for a gc2. I have been searching for 20 minutes and cant seem to find it. Email them and I am going to check a few other places. Ill let you know if I find it. Enjoy the new table.

Nobull9 and Ian, I noticed both of you did a very good job of explaining how to properly setup a GC3, wonder why there isn't a load of mechanics chipping in on this one. If the poster had asked for a mechanic to setup his table, he would have gotten several responses by now, but to ask just to ask....for the advice that mechanics sell daily, I take offense to....sorryxianmacx said:

2 people can easily break down and set up the table. Both people need to cummunicate together on carring the slate easy to tear a rotater cup or any other general shoulder or back pain when not done right.
Do a search on post's from Glen ~ realkingcobra ~ if you can understand them and are willing toi invest in several hundred dollars then it's worth it to try it yourself. The smart ones hire a pro to have it done right the first time saves money and repairs later on when done right.
I can understand why Glen dosent spill the beans anymore gets boring reposting the same thing over and over again, let people search then ask him what they dont understand and i'm sure he will help out if some people show some Initiative...

12-14 slate screws
18 rail bolts
18 blind rail bolts
12 pocket screws
12-18 ball return screws + spacers
12 screws for corners in blinds
12 bolts for castings
forgot about washers about 72
Honestly it's common sense to put a table together it takes skill, time, knowledge, practice, for it to be a table.
1 assemble legs
2 assemble frame
3 assemble frame to legs
4 center frame to room
5 level frame
6 add slate
7 level slate
8 seal seams
9 add cloth
10 cut out bolt holes
11 assemble blind rails
12 assemble rails
13 assemble blinds to rails
14 flip rails over
15 square it up
16 bolt rails
17 install ball returns
18 install pockets
19 add spot
20 have an asprin and a water.
21 rack and have fun
22 this is a basic step list recovering the rails takes knowledge and good skills
23 stretching cloth is an art
24 take your time read all of Glens post print them out before they go to archives and you should have assembled a tournament ready table if you follow avery step.

I found a much faster, easier way for the Average Inexperienced Joe to set up a GC3. Saves you a ton of steps too..

2. Call a qualified installer/mechanic.
Seriously though, you've got a good table there. You might as well make sure it's set up to it's potential. It would be a shame to have a table like that and not have it set up right.

I am going to buy a table soon and would be interested in the left handed wrench. ALso, I Am right-handed. Do I need an adapter?
