I smell a little bit of stereotyping going on here. A few bad apples in the bunch and here you go throwing us all in the same basket. If you don't like NPR then don't go there.....it's just that simple. I have been gone for a little while and I've decided to pop back in for a short spell.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with NPR and if you ask me it's the best forum on here....when pool players are in the pool hall they talk about everyday life and things other than pool. That's what this place is for and there are actually a lot of us that play pool. Come on man.
 
By now, I have read pretty much the entire thread. After your statement of Axing NPR, that is all I needed to read in order to make my post directed at yourself.

Why don't you address what I said toward you and your Sales in the Main, instead of trying to deflect it.

Yeah Allen, I know you're a serious trouble maker in NPR.

Yer always posting pictures of those stupid pens that you turn on your lathe. There is another guy that does that too. Seriously gets in the way of our fighting.

Which is another thing, if people actually read a bit or clicked back in NPR, they would see what we do for Hobbies, a few recipe threads. Cooking. At ton of stuff. Sure, much of it is Current Events and Political. Most of the threads in NPR wouldn't make it in the Main. That is why it is there, an alternative to Daily, Chalk, Tip and shaft threads. And that is where they dump the Threads that don't fit the bill in the Main forum also. It feels at times that we are a Garbage Can for the rest of the site. But in reality, the only Garbage Threads we get are those from the Main. Funny how things work eh.

You post a thread in the civilized area of the main forum about a member that has sustained a stab wound to the chest thinking there would be some kind words of encouragement.

Virtually nothing.

At least in NPR the members are concerned enough to post both words of encouragement and express their suspicions.
 
Actually what is up with all the people coming out of the woodwork.

At least NPR guys participate in this forum. Now this thread is made and I see a bunch of people that normally don't post.

I had been gone for a while, but now I see you are back on. I might stick around for a while and get some good laughs.

Regarding people, vendors etc, that you run into at larger Pool Tourneys that say that
they will never post or sell anything at AZB because we are a bunch of A Holes. That you agree with them. I could probably find those threads and posts if I did a bit of searching.

After reading a couple of those, if I were one of the owners, I may have asked you to hit the road and take your wares with you.

And you didn't answer my other question either. What do you contribute over all to the site other than using it for a platform to put money in your pocket.

I can do this back and forth all day and night if you wish. Doesn't bother me. Pool League is over for the year. I don't have to go anywhere tonight.

Altho I would prefer not to. Just be honest about it and try not to deflect. Admit that at one time, you got on your High Horse and were pissing all over the place.

Then you settled down, probably realizing that this is the only place that you can effectively sell your goods. And truthfully, I was fairly shocked myself, that you would talk down about the place that was putting money in your pocket every week.

If you did that at a regular job, you would be fired.

Mike isn't stupid either. He's read your posts re what I mentioned.

Anyway, I have to go back to NPR and Fight for the rest of the evening.

I participate here because I like it and I play pool. People that are complaining in this thread because they have an interest and that is selling their stuff.

I like this place because of the social interactions. They like/hate it because it involves money.

So I find it funny that they will call guys out that participate in a forum that is non-pool related. We actually like this place and if a Main Forum didn't exist, we would still be here.

Wow. Quit making me agree with you Dom. I must have got a hold of some really good stuff at the Dispensary last week.

Allen, at least Dom posts some good topics and he is good for a few laughs. More than I can say about many others.

RKC won't be coming back to AZB.

I just talked to Glen on the phone this morning about a different matter, but he informed me that even after his ban is lifted, he won't be coming back to AZB to post anymore, as he said..."There's way to many ppl on AZ anymore that feel they're entitled to stick their noses in other peoples business, even when they don't know the facts"
