Typically, I usually get one or two balls on the break. Sometimes, I get a big zero, and about the same frequency, I'll get 3, which I consider to be a lot. Games of choice are usually 8 or 9 ball, for reference.

Anyway, played Saturday.....9 footer, they had just replaced, leveled, and added new felt that morning.....it was smooth, played perfect, and no lean in the table....anyway, playing 9-ball, I made 5 balls on the break. To be honest, I can't ever remember making 4......ever.....so this was a big deal, at least to me :D ......Sadly, I barely missed the bank on the 5, but I played a little defense, leaving decent shape on the 6 and lots of green on the 5.....won the game, but it was cool only having 4 balls on the table...

What's the most balls you've ever made or seen made on the break??? If you have a good story, I'd like to hear it....

I've made 5 on the break a few times (my best). The most I've ever seen is 6. Once, it was a against me and the other was by my league teammate. In both scenarios, they couldn't get out.
 
My personal best was 6, and I was left safe...woohoo. My opponent was more excited than I was.
 
I made 5 balls on the break twice this evening. I was able to run out on the second one. I was playing on a Brunswick goldcrown with really really tight pockets, the same tables used for the 2006 WPC qualifiers in Manila

My personal best is 6 and I was lucky enough to pull off a run out on that one :)

The most ever witnessed was all 9 balls made by a man named Andy "Harpo" Bakerian. the next game he made 7 and safed himsel behind the 9 ball. This story was told to me by a man who's honesty and integridty i believe is beyond reproach. he hangs out over on the CCB on billiards digest and his screen name he goes by is ####leonard. I have known this man personally for over 40 years. And like i said. he is the most honest man you would ever want to know or meet.....thats my story and i am sticking to it....by the way. harpo claims that the break is all in the snap of the wrist.......................................mike
 
The most I have ever made is 6. The most I have ever seen made, playing 9-ball, was 7. The guy made everything but the 8 and 9 and was dead hooked on the 8. The funny thing is, the guy who did this was not a very good player at all. He just happened to be a big guy who hit the balls really hard. I saw a guy from here in Arizona (although, we were in California at the time) make *12* on the break playing 8-ball on the bar box. That is the most balls I've ever seen go in on the break. It looked like a trick shot.

Breaking 9-Ball on a 7-Foot Diamond I made 7 balls (not including the 9). This was last May in Las Vegas at the Riv.

On a 9-Footer I think I have made 6 Balls before (playing 9 Ball). Playing 8-Ball, I make 5 balls on the break semi-frequently. Don't know what the most is.
 
once made 6 on the break, and the 7 and 9 were laying in the pockets, with a straight in shot on the 5ball, being up 7 games for 20 a game already, it ended the action for the day!(last straw kind of thing i guess)

at the west side tavern in climax springs mo. after tournament one night playing $5.00 9 ball i made 7 balls on the break. last two balls were the 7 sitting in the pocket, and the 9 setting in the pocket. i was able to get out.

Six in nine, eight in eight...

Not too long ago, maybe six months, I was fortunate enough to make six balls
on the break, playing nineball, on a nine foot Goldcrown I. I was lucky enough to be able to have a shot and get out. A long time ago, when I used to live in Milwaukee, WI, I made eight balls on the break, playing eight ball on an 8' Valley barbox. Made five stripes and three solids. Four shots later the game was over. Guy I was playing ddin't know what to look at, balls were going in all over the table after the break shot. Too bad I can't play every day like I used to.
 
I have made on a bar table 7 balls on the break in 9 ball and did not get out.LOL guys never let me forget that one. I have also made 7 ,9 ball breaks in a row. For 8 ball I have made 8 balls on the break before on a bar box and 3 8 ball breaks in a row.My record break and run 9 ball is 6 or 7 racks and my record 8 ball is 11 break in runs in a row in a tounament race to 2 LOL I took second in that tounament. Also have made 5 jump shots in a row to win a 9ball game and winning a match against a awsome player who i put in the loser's side and he went for a ton of money in the calcutta.:) :) LOL I have also had 13 racks broke and ran against me 2 times playing 9 ball.:) :)
 
playing on a 9 footer I made 7 playing 8 ball 5 stripes and 2 solids, playing 9 ball I think 5 is the most I've made.
 
I think my maximum is 4 on the break. I've atually seen a clip where all 9 are shot in on the break, its pretty sweet. If anyone wants it just PM me.:D
 
I most I ever was 5 stripe and 1 solid in eight ball, I could not see a stripe to save tail. So I ran out the solid and give my opponent good ball count in league play. I believe it was the most balls he got in one game all night.
 
9-Ball....Have made 6 balls on the break twice on 7-ft tables. Neither included the 9. First time was about 10-12 years ago on a pretty sloppy Valley and I distinctly remember being hooked tight on the 5 and couldn't get out. More recently, about 3 months ago, I made 6 balls again on a pretty tight Diamond bar box and was able to easily complete the run. The most I've ever made on a 9-ft was 5 balls including the 9.

8-Ball....Don't think I've ever made 6 before in a game of 8-Ball, but have made 5 on a number of occasions on both a 7-ft and 9-ft.
