Damn... I forgot about you - I thought Adam was about 6'6 or 6'7 - Not that it matters, but it feels as if both of you are like a foot taller than me anyway - so IMO you're about 6'10. lol

How tall is Bob Ogburn?

I'm 6'5" and Adam is a lil tall than I am...Big Bob is a lil shorter

Voodoo~~~way taller than Blackjack

Dave Bollman

I had forgotten about Scott Frost. I remembered Dave Bollman, mentioning him in my post on page 1 of this thread! :grin-square:

Another tall player that we forgot about is Grady Mathews! :)

Picture of two veteran tall guys, Dave Bollman and Buddy Hall!

So what you are saying, Kelly - is that down here in Orlando, we could put together a pretty good basketball team with Adam Wheeler and Debbie Schjodt, right? One of them could be the centers, just switch them out - we could put Shanelle Lorraine or Miyuki Sakai on point guard, Charlie Williams or Sarah Ellerby as power forward - Mike Sigel can ride the bench... lol.. and Wayne Catledge could be the coach.

Now that the team is together, we challenge any city out there in a charity event.

(yes - I am a WAYYYY shorter than The Voodoo Daddy)

Niels Feijen is well over the 6-foot mark, and recent studies show Danish men lead the world in tallness. :o

Hmmmmm... I thought that Dutch men were the leaders, Jennie.

Dutch?... Danish?... who cares... except that I'd rather be in Danish instead of in Dutch.

At a tournament this weekend, I met a player who was 7'2". He weighed (I'm imagining) about 395 lbs and wasn't super fat either. He was agile and could play rather well.

He introduced himself to me as "Big Bob" from Lake Charles, LA. With a very serious face, I asked him "Why do they call you Big Bob"? :poke: Looking down on me like an ant, he replied with an equally serious face, without missing a beat, "I have no idea". We were best buddies from there on out. :lmao:

I imagine Archer is over 6 foot, Strickland to name a couple. Jim Jennings is a huge mountain of a man with a grip like the jaws of life.

I'm 6'2", can't play for sh## and thinking about having 4" removed from my legs.

That's going to require a whole lot of diet and exercise but if it's the thighs you are talking about it is quite reasonable. If it's the calves you are trying to reduce you'll have to go anorexic for a few months.

Hennessee is about 6'1

You don't see them anymore but both Reed Pierce and Roger Griffis were pretty tall.

in basketball height is an advantage... in pool, the table itself stands from 30-32" range floor to bed... the taller the player is... the harder for him/her to bend?

What about that road player who travels around the country and very few people know him by his real name, the one who is about 6'3" and has that unbelievable chicken wing stroke. That chicken wing is such a magnet but he has bankrupted many a man with it. Black hair, tall, not fat but with an unbelievable contorted chicken wing. When he leaves with the cash, which is almost always the case, everyone says, "WTFJH? I just got beat by a chicken wing". :D

I think he's from up north. I don't have to remember his name only his unorthodox style. When I see him in a pool hall, I go the other way for fear he will ask me to play and the larceny in my blood will take over.:p

I've often thought it probably is easier to play if you are shorter. I'm 6'3, and yes I can reach shots that some can't. I've played on tables though that were lower than most I've played on and played terrible. I've also played on tables that were a little higher and felt way more comfortable.

Hello everyone, I am 6'2.5".
Mike Davis used to be upset that he was not taller than me. He is 6'2". I have him by 1/2 an inch. Or at least I used to.
