How much $$$ do you have invested???

How much money do you have invested in your everyday gear?...ie what's in the case that you carry, use and play with everyday?...include your case, cue's and favorite accesories...just thought it would be interesting to know what the average 'Player' had invested in our favorite pastime...

In my case, it's not so much what I carry around that cost me the most money. I had to build an extension onto the house (40K plus) to make enough space for a pool table. The other problem I have is that my wife plays pool also - whenever I get a new cue, she gets jealous and I have to buy her one as well.

Currently I carry a Layani worth about $1200 and a free Willee (wasn't that a movie?) break cue in a $250 Instroke case. My wife carries a fabulous Barry Cameron cue with 16 ivory panels which is likely worth much more than she realises, but I got that for free as well.

Often times a work I'll be looking at cues on ebay or other web sites and I'll ask someone, "What would you consider a high priced pool cue to be?" Most people will reply with a couple hundred dollars or 500.00. They always freak out when I say, "That's about what they START at"

I guess I am a dirt bag player, a Timex watch kind of guy...my total playing package right now comes in under a $100.

A cheep guy from the northern plains, I represent that too ! Well done cheesemouse !

for many years I used perhaps $200 worth of gear (Brunswick by McDermott in a soft case), but upgraded to a used Falcon two years ago, so now I have about $400 worth of gear that I take out. Of course the table in the basement cost me a bit more, and I too had to make a house renovation to accomodate the table, but they only charged me $1000 to put in the techlam beam instead of the 3 x 2x12 beam.

I have other expensive habits...er...hobbies !

Since I've been in the process of changing out cues and whatnot I only have about $2000 with my one cue and case but once all my cues that I have on order come in I will have anywhere from $4600 to $5700 with the cues and the case.

Hey Zim

8000 when I'm at leagAround $ue night (I carry a 12x24 dealer case full)

The guy that was over at my house last Saturday had one of them 12 X 24 dealer cases. Man had Richard Black's "Silver Crown" ($25,000) plus about another $100,000 more in there. I have never seen anything like it.
Purdman
The Humble Cue Collector

Probably $200,000 would be my guess.

Here is mine:
Foster Ebony Playing cue with wrap: $300 + $300 for predator shaft
Foster J/B with Playing shaft and Break shaft: $575
Bentley Leather Case got it USED off Doug for: $150
One of those Moosehorn bridge thingies, a mini Bca Rule Book, Mr Clean Magic Eraser, Talc, 2000 grit sandpaper, paper towel, tip shaper. $50 ?

Total: $1375 And i am growing more and more uncomfortable taking this to bars. I actually had Doug make me the Cheapest possible playing cue with predator shaft and leather wrap specificly to take to bars, my Fancy Foster on order won't ever see the inside of a bar.
