However, since her native language isn't English, perhaps she messed something up,but honestly I doubt she did.She has such nice and big brown eyes, and eyes don't lie !!!!
Ask Gene !!!

:scratchhead: Well, did you realize that dakraljic spelled backwards is cijlarkad? And that really explains it all. :nanner::slap::thud::bash::hug::shrug::speechless:

I'm gonna take a wild guess and say that you meant "How do you install a tip on a SHAFT and do it so good that nobody knows you did it your self?"

1. There's several threads on this here and in the cuemaker's forum, also several utube videos show step-by-step how to install a tip.

2. Practice. Start by installing cheap tips on shafts you don't use.

If I'm wrong, o well.

I did once gamble with a guy using a mechanical bridge (backwards) as my cue and won. I could break using a normal cue though. I just applied chalk directly to the wood and it worked fairly well. Every time I meet this guy he reminds me of this game. Its one of the most fun times I've ever had on a pool table.

If you are going to install a tip on a butt for gambling purposes, then I guess its best to use a housecue with the kind of rubber bumper thats screwed on with a small wood screw. If you remove the screw and bumper you could shave down a tip so its just the dome shaped part left and glue it on to the wood, or use a router and countersink a full tip in, but I dont know how you could use it without anyone noticing it.

The ultimate best way would have to be to cut out the center of the bumper (so its doughnut shaped), glue this doughnut to the wood and replace the cutout rubber with wood and then glue the tip to that, so that it appears that the bumper is a normal, solid dome shape. It would have to be very dark and the people you play have to be extremely clueless for this to go unnoticed, but its just about possible. You would have to be a shady character to pull a stunt like this though.

actually except in a trick game where both players are gambling and agreed you arent allowed in pool to shoot using your cues butt even if you have put a tip on it.

Yrs ago, McDermott made cues with a flat cut, angled edge on the cue butt side. If ya could not reach the shot, you'd just grab the shaft, put the flat face of the cue butt on table and slide it utilizing the bumper to strike whitey. Was very effective on simple bump and roll shots that were not reachable.
