How ugly do you think this cue is?

Someone say ugly? I was so ugly as a kid.........my mom gave me a toaster for a bath toy.

I was such an ugly kid........playin in the sandbox the cats would try and cover me up!

Compliments of the late Rodney Dangerfield

My favourite one by him:

"..I was an ugly kid too. I told my old man: "You never took me to the zoo." He said: "If they want you, they'll come and get you."

I was so ugly as a kid, my mom took me to the pet store and the clerk told her to put me back in the pen!

The great late Rodney Dangerfield

"When I was born I was so ugly the doctor slapped my mother."

I have a nice Frey sneaky I will sell you for 50$ shipped. Just let me know where to send it!

I forgot to mention, when you flip it, I would appreciate you splitting your "winnings" with me!

I really do not like the looks of this cue, but I think it might be a nice player.

It was made by Chris Whitaker, who was taught how to make cues by Mike Durbin (so I am thinking that his cues might have a similar feel and hit to a Durbin, but I do not know). I just can't get over how ugly I think the cue looks. Do you think a different wrap might improve the looks of that cue, or would it still look pretty bad no matter what type of wrap was on it? Thanks for any thoughts about the cue.

I am without a cue again, and have been searching ebay (for the last several days) for something that I might like, for under $200. Not easy to find something really nice and decent for under $200 these days.

Post a pic of your face besides the cue justin , so we know how ugly it truly is when we compare it .

Ebay is pretty good for glass Bong parts & tip tools, but that is about it.

I was going to make a joke about buying warped cues on Ebay, however the truth is
half the cues I've purchased on Ebay were sent back, and the other half I should of sent back.
Ebay is a dumping ground and simple things like Schon shafts even have some
issues when purchased on Ebay.
I bought some high end fishing line on Ebay, and every roll was lets say depleted.
The seller apologized and credited everything, which is one of the good things about Ebay.
Ebay does have some structure and you are protected to a certain extent.
The "dumping ground" part really comes true when you are too busy to go through the return for credit process.

Ebay isn't what it used to be.

But it depends on what you are looking for and how you are searching...it can provide the occasional treasure for a bargain price. But that takes time and patience that some don't have.

Looks like a McDermott. Wood combo in the forearm looks like something you might see in an older Southwest.

If you'd stop showing your cards and made a new handle here just for selling, you could make $50's and $100's almost at will.

OMG stop allready!!!

Flipping the cue that someone just about gifted to you is one of the biggest dick moves in the history of the forum. You should have been red bombed into oblivion for that one. I'm not really sure what your game is here? Buying warped cues and shafts etc..WTF is that? Then nit picking every cue that is perfectly playable? Go to a god damned store or even a pool hall. Look the cue you are about to buy over. There your problems have now been solved.

Your problems could be ended once and for all if you actually saved up for a Mezz. They are the best cues I've ever tried and have several different shafts to choose from, even regular maple. An entry level Mezz will set you back about 400 dollars and they are worth every cent. You can get phenolic joints or metal joints, the balance is perfect, the joint is nice and snug and the hit is amazing. Instead you want to buy some beaten to shit sneaky from a garage cuemaker, that you are guaranteed to sell in a week...I bet you even a regular, plain Joss will play circles around any custom you can find for 200 dollars and IMO the Mezz is even better. 400 dollars isn't all that much money if you really want something and are willing to make some small sacrifices for it. If it has to be 200, buy a used Joss. You can keep that for the rest of your life. It's a perfectly acceptable cue for players of any level and it's quality.

Yeah, I sold a Helmstetter that an AZ member sold me for $50 shipped (around 3 years ago), but you make it out like I sold the cue as soon as I received it. To be honest, I had that cue for a few months before I sold it, and the only reason I sold it is because I was really in need of the money. I think I got around $150 out of the cue. You make me out to be some scum bag that only purchased the cue with the intent to resell it, which is not true. I wish that I could have held onto the cue forever, but I just could not. I guess the right thing to have done was to not accept the generous offer that was offered to me (because knowing me, I can't hold onto anything of value forever), and I can't repay the good deeds that have been offered to me in the past. So, I am a horrible person because I sold a cue that someone gave me a very generous deal on. You may not believe me, but I think I have lost more money over the years on cue deals then I have profited. I was able to hang on to this very nice Jacoby that I had for around a year, I think (not sure, but I did really love that cue, and had it for awhile, traded it, and then got it back again a few months later, and then eventually had to sell it).

For all the $200 cues deals you do you could have saved on shipping and actually bought a cue worth keeping. Unreal.

And yes, I believe you when you say you lose money on your cue deals. That's what happens when you need a quick buck every 2 weeks and need to unload you cue cheaper than you bought it.

That is why I search for bargains. I hate paying more money for a cue then I am able to get back when the time comes that I need to sell it. Cues are not easy to sell, and even harder to sell fast (unless the price is right / cheap enough). I never enjoy selling my cue (unless I really do not like the cue). I usually do keep my cues for longer then 2 weeks though, lol.

Why don't you just:

-Save up
-Buy something nice
-Love it
-Kiss it
-Play with it
-Be loyal to it
-Kiss it more
-Keep it

Don't treat your cues like a hooker unless your a pimp.

We no longer care about your cues, that's if we ever did. This is my last reply to anything you post. You take being a troll to new lows. The ever-so-slight entertainment value of your rambling, nonsense is now deader than Hula-Hoop.

They are no longer my cues. Oh, you mean you will no longer care about any of my future cues. Okay. I may be stupid, and an idiot, but I am not a troll (I do not think I am). So, I am a stupid, idiotic rambler. I am also a troll? What does the term "troll" actually mean? I thought it meant "the type of person that loves to get attention, with a bunch of non sense, that they know to be non sense". I may be way off, as to what the meaning of a troll is. I do not know.

I do really love my cues, even after they are gone. They are no longer mine, but I do still love many of them, and really miss them.

someone put this thing out of its misery. i read he got a cue for 50 bc a member was generous enough to feel bad for this guy and he sod it for 150. that right there would have got him banned years ago, this site is getting soft. lol. onto better things, larry nevel is trying to get a meucci and a predator break cue for a nice schon on FB. someone helpout a guy who actually contributes to pool with talent. lol.
