Do I have to cut it, or can I play it 4 rails. Legit asking.
Inside, rail first.
There's no trick to it, it's a stock shot.
Boom, first answer!Inside, rail first.
I was thinking Ray Martin but the style of the table is wrong.... 90% sure I know where that pic came from.
I usually hit those with a low ball. I think it can give you a bit of swerve to help it towards the pocket so that the spin gripping the rail has some help. What does hitting above center do for you? I'll have to try it tomorrow.May just be my preference but not only inside but a quarter to half tip high too. Whatever it takes to make sure I am not below center.

This or bank itInside, rail first.
Very hard cut to make like in the illustration. Spinning it in it's a simple shot.caught this in a book recently..curious if there's any debate

Not sure why you'd think I wouldn't cut the ball inIf you're not confident shooting it, play safe. Bank the object ball to the middle of the foot rail, and leave the cue ball in the middle of the head rail. Depends on what game you are playing I guess.
