Ya it does get old..... When people beak about someone they have no clue about.
I agree with Jam on this one. It seems that everyone knows Ronnie from what they read on this forum. I know him to be a stand up straight up guy. But of course one instance(that was never solved) and of course none of us were there, ruins a mans reputation because of a bunch of internet forum trolls that could'nt run 2 balls on a good day.
I agree with Jimmy and Jam and against Dennis.
I've also spent a very large amount of time with Ronnie and find him to be a decent person. Yes, he has stiffed me once out of a small amount. BUT, I go down the rolodex, sorry I'm old, and see all the other players I've known over the 70's till now in the pool world, It's hard to find players that haven't owed you, or stiffed you at ONE point. That's the whole point one time and then it's established not to do that again, and everyone is OK about things.
My post had nothing to do with Ron Wiseman. I was commenting on how anytime someone comes up with something Jam disagrees with, [ by the way , I do enjoy reading her post's most of the time], it's "we'll you have never been on the road, blah ,blah. That is all I'm saying. Maybe we haven't but that doesn't make our opionion's any less knowledgable than the next person. Just remember you can lead a horse to water but a pencil must be lead.
I never said that. Everybody is entitled to their opinion for sure. I just think what gets old is how people post about things as if they're gospel when they have no firsthand knowledge about it. That's all, no more and no less.
You're right about one thing. It does get old responding to people like you who seem to enjoy causing hurt and/or anger in others. Why? I'm not sure. Maybe this is how you get your jollies. If so, I'm glad I can oblige.![]()
Would you want a lot of weight or a little? Perhaps you would give him some weight! How many games on the wire in a race to 11 games playing 9 ball, or 7 and out? Or if you play One Pocket what would you want in weight? 10/7?
Ronnie was in New Orleans, Louisiana for a good while playing at Buffalo Billiards, the worlds pool hall. He is a very nice pro pool player.
Many Regards,

Nice try, but I did not say that. I said everyone is entitled to their opinion. I also said that opinions on this forum are formed by people who read forum posts here and have no firsthand knowledge. I emphasized there's three sides to a story.
I did not say you've never been on the road, blah, blah, blah. If you want to slam me for my defending Ronnie Wiseman in this thread, you'll have to do better than that.
Let's try this again. This is not about Ronnie Wiseman.
A lot of people have no idea what its really like to be around great action pool rooms and players because they never been there, so they hear all kinds of bullshit and hearsay and run with it and act like they know what they are talking about, Jam i know you been there in back more then a few times, iam sure theres nothing your eyes havent seen that goes on in poolhalls and bars, Ronnie, for as long as i heard of this man, his name was always mention when it came to big money games and gambling (not on no forums, this was real pool hall talk), this man been around a very long time(sure there mite be a couple of things that Ronnie should of done different)you dont last as long as ronnie has in the gambling business of pool if you are a real and true stiff artist like a lot of people like to say here about him, hell i remember back in the 70s and 80s alot of players myself included, when you went broke you always played the last one on the ARM, NOBODY got mad back then when you armed them for the last game after they just busted you, plus the good guys(which was most players)would still not let you go home broke, they would always give you a walking stick!
From some of the things I have read on here, if I were to play Ronnie I would make him post every penny, count it twice, and check for counterfeits.
Ronnie is good pool peeps for sure. He definitely is an old-school kind of player who practices old-school kind of etiquette. One thing for sure, he'll match up with anybody and play. He likes to play pool and loves action.
when at buffalo's few weeks back. practiced every day. stiffed NOBODY. cool guy to have around.help bad players with there game. personally had the pleasure of bow fishing with him. wish he would hang at buffalo's more.
ps if you don't like lock and load's treads DON'T READ THEM.
