I don't know what the hell that is supposed to mean, but if you cant stun that cue ball with enough speed to just touch the side long rail and let it run under the 9 with some inside english, I'll suggest you keep slamming them around and certainly don't play any 1pkt.
Combo 6 to 9, pocket speed....you want to play low on the cueball, bringing back up to the center of the head of the table, as close to the rail as possible.....if you miss, the 6 should be close to where the 9 was with a difficult shot at best going the length of the table.....if you make it, game over....
A good opponent will make that 9 from anywhere, because if that combo with pocket speed misses, the 9 will be hung up.

Yup . Spin the 6 with low left in the right hand pocket hard and the cue ball will go 3 rails then kill on the 4th rail and straighten out a bit and possibly end up near the 7. I think to take the offense here is better then an iffy safe.Low left.

edit ... ha.. I looked again, ok maybe the 6 gets a touch past the side pocket, but this is no more than a little nip stroke with some inside draw. You demonstrated the touch of a bull moose in that diagram.
It was an attempt at humor. That was a nice shot you posted. Your table appears to be playing a tad slower than the one I was on but you managed to also tie up the 6 (something I was hoping to do). I like this shot a lot since it's also utilizing the natural block the 8 creates by running into the 9. I prefer mine since the level of difficulty is about the same with greater reward and only slightly greater risk but that's just my opinion. It's aggressive which is something I tend to favor. I think if you tried my approach, you would be pleased with the array if outcomes.
Thanks Jude, as I get older I think my tendency is to play more conservatively. But that's what makes the game so great. Endless possibilities. The cloth on that table is 760 btw.
