Huff cues-another victim

I saw this cue on e-bay and bought it to take to league matches for people to use if they didn't have a stick. I had been bringing a Joss I have but was always worried about it getting banged up so I thought this stick would be perfect. Cheap but still a nice looking cue.

Sellers name was "davidh7730". No feedbacks and wanted a money order, I should have known better. But the worst part is I sent the money order to:

David Huff
3800 Ingramville Rd
Ferrum, VA.

It was a week later that I was reminded about the long post here about this guy when I was telling someone about it. I had read that post and just didn't remember, didn't put it together till it was too late.

Two days after I send the MO, I went to the page and saw that he was "no longer a member" of e-bay. I googled the above address on the MO, and it comes back to a Sal's Pizza :)....and the phone number there has been disconnected.

I know he had about four other cues he was selling at the same time, so I would say those other people got shafted as well.

Well do you have the address you sent the Money Order? If you do contact the local Police Department in that Town, and also contact the U.S. Postal Inspector.

I might state a Thread asking if anyone lives in Ferrum, VA., and see if anyone would be willing to track the SOB down for you.

If you bought a US postal money order, you can attempt to recover funds through the US Postal Service and also file mail fraud charges with them against that guy as well. Just make sure you have the receipt. Good luck dude.

Yes, it was a postal money order and I have the receipt. I think it's been long enough that it's safe to say the cue is not coming.

I'll go up to the post office and see what they can do and what I can do. It's not a large amount of money but it really pisses me off that the guy did this knowing he had no intention of following through on the auction.

I am really having a hard time focusing on the text. What is her name and I am in lust!!:o

Ol' David Huff should be scared shitless regarding mail fraud charges... I had some people mess with my mailbox one time and MAN the postal service came down like a ton of bricks on them.

I would do as the other posts suggest... tell Ebay, tell the Ferrum police and also call the Ferrum postal inspector.... they WILL send a postal investigator over to this guys house and will have a talk with him.... Very serious stuff. My crystal ball says... jailtime in the future for someone!

You should get in touch with the guy who sent his cues to be refinshed.I think the 2 of you should go after this guy together. This will show the authorities his complicity to defraud.Good luck with this and keep us up to date on an outcome.

Last weekend we had (2) of the Big Blue USPS Collection Boxes (Mail boxes) Ripped off from in front of two different Post offices where I live.

Perps tried using some of the Stolen Gift Cards they got out of the mail. Cops caught em, and they are facing Federal Time.

Since the vendor used the US Post Office (snail mail) to defraud you, a federal offense has been committed. Contact your local US Postal Inspector's Office to report the incident and they'll appear on his doorstep with a badge and firearm. Trust me, they've worked for me on more than one occasion.

Regarding the mail box theft... Ya know... if criminals weren't so damn stupid... we would be in trouble.

These guys thought they were so smart... now Ben Dover will have a couple of new *****es at the big house...

Reminds me of some white supremacists back in 1995 that committed racially motivated murder... They got caught, life in prison, and the irony is that they will be the girlfriends of men of the same race they were violent against... The irony is just too grand.

Call the inspectors and let this case roll!

Too bad thats not true. They will join the aryan brotherhood and be in an opposing gang. We Should not waste time housing them, just execute them and save the taxpayers some money.

database searches

There are ways of finding people via database searches. I use autotrackxp and another service to find people. You could locate him, if in fact you have his correct name, and the send the authorities after him. I am not sure what the alleged federal crimes would be and/or fraud statutes. I would probably think about filing criminal charges in his locale as well.

my best guess is, the post office once again lost or damaged your cue. his standard line of bullshit.

Well, the government moves slow. I went to the post office and filled out a complaint (3 dollars) and they said in two to three weeks I will receive a photo copy of the front and back of the money order with the signature of whoever cashed it.

When I get that I have to go back up to the post office and talk to the post master about the next step.

Yes, it moves slow, but it moves and is darned hard to stop once it starts moving. Good luck getting your money back.
