I am reading Hustler Days by R.A. Dyer. From the impression I get pool had it's heyday from the 1850's thru the 1930's. Then WW II came and the returning soldiers returned with money to spare and followed the American Dream of a house, wife, 3.2 kids, and a dog, Then forsakening the sport of Billiards. Which led to the decline of the pool halls throughout the country, until The Hustler came out.
Which got me thinking how many of you are married, and how many are single?
What is the time spent in the pool hall for a married man or woman, per week, Compared to a single person per week...Just curious, I'm married and spend approx. 15 hrs a week in the poolhall........Charlie D
