Hyper Kid Shooting Pool :D

Is that Charlie Williams. Dude is annoying also. I cant watch Charlie play at all. I watched him in a few Fla tours in 2000. Drove me nuts. No reason to get up off a shot like he does.

Shoooooottttttt the ball junior.

Watch where the kid in the video puts the chalk, in the same spot every time. Like its supposed to be in that spot. Chalks, walks to shot, back to chalk, back to chalk, back to shot. omg......

First person that popped into my head. I watched him play at snookers a few years about. I couldn't believe it. Him and Joe T played. I think it was 3 hours for a race to 9. Joe T might remember, it was a long match. I think Danny walked/jumped 20km in a 23' space.

I thought the same thing also,it was like watching a Basavich video when he was younger,I was waiting for him to roll his head and scream at the end of the match. Wonder how much chalk he goes through in a night? By the way,Danny Basawich is an awesome player...IMO.

that is pretty awful.

I was actually becoming internally infuriated just by watching that freakin video. I would have blown a gasket if I was playing this kid.

I have a woman on my APA team that is slower than molasses and I've just about had it. She knows she is slow and when she notices people, including her teammates, are getting fed up with it she gets slower just to make a point. It's outrageous. Her best move is when her turn comes up, she will slowly take one more drag of her cigarette, squint her eyes Clint Eastwood style, stare at the table from her chair, grab her stick and slowly walk to the table. She then proceeds to walk around the table no less than 2x while chalking, gets down in her shot and back up no less than 3x, thinks some more... then calls time out. All the while she will then take the shot and miss after a good 5-7 minute process. She has countless times taken over 1.5 hours for a race to 3 on 8-ball on bar boxes.

This has singlehandedly made me decide to quit APA as soon as I have fulfilled my city tournament obligations.

Poor thing. She must really crave attention.

That was very entertaining...poor kid looked like Jack Nicklaus standing over a putt...lol!! Jack always said never pull the trigger til u are 100% dedicated to the task at hand.... The kid definitely was trying to finish off the set for the win so i can see he was giving it 200%...Way to go kid!

Man, thats too funny first thing in the morning. A kick in the bag wouldn't slow this guy down.
Hes a poster boy for Master chalk.

Anyone seen 50 First Dates? I think this kid has one of those amnesias. He forgets he already chalked and he forgets that he has already checked the shot from one angle every 5 seconds. So he does the routine all over again.

See the way he twitches midway when getting down on his shot? He forgets why he is going down so he gets back up and starts the routine again.

Haha k im kidding hope I don't offend anyone. He just wants to be a hundred percent before he fires :P

There should be a Three Chalk Rule. If you chalk three times before the same shot, you lose the game.

hahahaha, I was thinking the exact same thing. This kid must've had a lesson from Charlie for sure~

About 4 weeks ago I decided to go out and enter a tournaments after not playing for a while. So I go to Hollywood billiards and enter their tues night handicapped 9ball event. It starts at 8pm. I get a bye the first round and I am waiting for the winner of this match. One player has to go to 9 and the other goes to 5. Their match goes off right about 8:20pm. I know the one guy who is a 5 and he plays pretty slow but this other guy who is a 9 was just ridiculous. He played like that kid only a bit slower motion. The same look, get down, get up, chalk, look again, get down again, get up again routine. Rinse and repeat about 3 times for every shot.

Their race went double hill and ended at 10:25 pm. Over 2 hrs to play a total of 13 games. The guy who went to 9 won. He sure was looney tunes too. I went over to ask him who was winning when it was 4-3 and he responded by saying something like "Oh its alright, he was trying to make me mad but it doesnt bother me." This is after I say, Hey im Dave, I got to play the winner of your match. Who's winning?" I just said ok and walked away puzzled.

That guy was tough action because he definitely had screws loose upstairs. He had a bunch of military POW patches on his case and clothing and I remember me thinking, I wonder if this guy is subject to going completely postal if he loses. These are thoughts that are going through my head in the match and I begin to wonder, now why exactly did I just drive 35 miles to go to this tournament again?

im not positive but that kid might be from our region iowa_player, i played him before in sterling, IL once or twice at the weekly 9 balls. that was many moons ago, and u never forget that composure at the table

hes got ocd or somthin

I believe that's one of the Behnke boys from around Dubuque, Iowa. The whole family plays...4 brothers Mom and Pop. I think there might be a daughter in there too, but I'm not sure.

They all shoot very well. They've all won Division Championships in our ISPA tournament. A couple of the boys are now in our Elite Division...meaning they have won a Masters Division event.

I don't think any of them shoot that 'style' any more. I think it was probably just nerves in that match. Just justifying, just saying. That would drive me nuts too.

Im glad everyone is enjoying this video .
I have someone very close to the Behnke family checking into this.
They are going to call the Mrs.Behnke and ask . I will post here when I find out .

WOW! I would have lost a bundle on that bet! I believe you, it's just hard to believe that he would EVER play like that!
Tournament pressure does weird things. Who knows what was going on in the kids head, but you can see he has confidence issues. Perhaps he just smoked a J and is a little paraniod, I've seen that happen.

Future Johnny A perhaps?
