I don't suppose you caught it on film ???
Would love to see it !
Well done !

I would imagine that many 1st time high runs are not caught on film as people don't know they can do it.
Looking forward to seeing you in MD for the State 14.1 tourney Steve. I will be in NYC tomorrow but just for a business meeting then back on the 3pm train.
Awesome shooting. No matter what table or the conditions running over 200 is world class and by talking to a few that have run over 200 we all have geussed that at most there are only about 100 players that have ever broke 200.This could be a long story i will try to shorten it
i am 48 yrs old have been playing for many years with long breaks in between i really dont gamble i sometimes play tournament i basicly just love playing and want to improve
i play alone mostly i practice straight pool i have never run 100 balls prior to today i have had many 60 70 & 80 ball runs
i was hitting balls today and found my self on a 84 i thought one more rack i will be there
i did it i ran the century for the fist time in my life with all the pressure gone i just started free stroking i ran 205 as god as my witness . This is the best pool day of my life

hey bobby. Maybe 100 alive right now, but i'd probably disagree with your number if it's meant for all-time. Just seems too low. I definitely agree that it's a pretty exclusive club.
As to the original poster, i'd have to believe that you are the only person in the history of the world to have a high run over 200 without ever having had one in the 100s. Statistically speaking, i can't imagine the number of standard deviations away from the norm you'd have hit with this run, but you probably did the equivalent of pitching a no-hitter in your first two starts as a major-leaguer. Congrats.

Gerard,
Congratulations. It's amazing what one can do if they are relaxed and just having fun. I would wager that many people could best their previous high runs more readily if they would just relax and enjoy themselves. You took this to the extreme though. You must have been so relaxed you were bordering on comatose.
Is this you in the below article? If so, congratulations again on taking second to a very seasoned player.

Steve makes a great point & I am glad that he said what I was thinking.
To the original poster, please video tape yourself running 70 balls and post it. We will be able to tell if the 200 took place.
If it did happen, only you know and Congrats to a wonderful, wonderful achievement.[/QUOTE22
