The women's pro tour pays more money than the mens. Linda I don't see one year that you have earned the amount of money for the entire year as Bernie has earned in 1 tournament. Bernie has won more money in 1 tournament then you have ever earned in an entire year on the WPT.

Guess what Linda,,,, you wanna knock and ruin that poor guys 15 minutes to fame... Guess what,,, You're own husband is getting questioned as one of the IPT players who "how did he/she ever get selected"..

Linda you you're self have no shot at getting past the 1st round..

Linda that guy is a much much much better person then you ever where or will ever be. That guy is honest and sincere and has won more tournaments than you have. Linda have you ever won a 2600 tournament? I bet not. Bernie has.

I have more respect and LIKE and would much rather watch Bernie's matches than I would watching you're matches... Linda the real truth... You don't have any real right of having been selected as much as you have no right knocking anyone.

What all you few immature idiotic morons have done to Bernie I hope he draws you're butt the 3rd match of the 1st round and KNOCKS YOU OUT 1-2-3 good-bye Linda.

Sorry to get your panties in a bunch. I am actually friends with Bernie and that was a gentle nudge, not a slam...all good-natured ribbing. I am not saying I am a great player, I know I will be knocked out in the first round. Bernie and I talk a lot via PM's and he feels I am his ONLY ally on AZB. So I don't know what your problem is. Maybe you should check your facts first and go check ALL my references to Bernie's remarks before you slam me.

FWIW, let your cue stick do the talking come this July in Las Vegas. Win or lose, it is going to be a golden opportunity for every single competitor who steps up to the plate.

Remember that some, and not all, disgruntled posters are truly on the outside looking in; thus, the crackpots will come out of the woodwork from time to time and continue to attempt to ruin your IPT experience. They cannot succeed, though, if you show no fear and be all that you can be on a field of green. When you see a piece of dog doo-doo, you step over it quickly and move on. Do the same thing with this POS message sent to you.

It seems obvious that Mike is frustrated with other posters picking on Bernie and took it out on you by venting.

The closer it gets to the first tournament the more nervous players become. First they worry about whether the tournament will take place and second will they embarrass themselves.

Bernie is a big boy and he seems like he can take the heat. Afterall, it goes with the territory.

The fact of the matter is, you are on the IPT. Who cares what anyone else thinks of your playing abilities.

Who is this Mike fellow? And why is he taking his ire out on Linda? What'd she do?

I miss Bernie. I think he's nuts, of course, but in a good and completely harmless way. I am not sure how seriously he takes himself and I find his posts - or what I can read of them anyway - refreshing and funny.

Linda, you've already made all of us proud with your positive attitude about this tour. Do NOT start saying things like "I know I will be knocked out in the first round." to placate the naysayers. It serves no purpose, and it belies the dedication you have put into this game. I trust you are preparing for this tournament in your free time; do it with as positive an attitude as you've shown on this board, and you will continue to make us proud.

I think you are correcct that this Mike just misunderstood of the posts
about Bernie. Bernie is just excited about the IPt, and rightfully so after
being selected, as were you. Bernie's posts were ones of exuberance
and fascination, but it is true, he might be on a different paradigm than
most posters.... lol

I hope that neither of you gets your enthusiasm or determination dampened
from competing the best that you can.

Of course, that goes without saying. I specifically told all IPT members that I belonged to a billiard forum and that it would be posted for the cue survey. I also thought Mike had some suggestions of value regarding accommodations in Vegas that might be helpful to other IPT travelers.

Have you considered the possibility that this Mikey C. might have thought that the PoolFool quote was YOURS not PoolFool's (since it was in your post). He seems to be a forum newbie, and well below "B" in the literary skills department. Maybe he doesn't know you can quote other people's posts in your own. Just a thought. Otherwise, he's just deep out in left field.

OK, the guy is totally unhinged. He is sending more hate letters, 6 today. He has lodged a complaint at AOL, AZB, and the IPT. I tried sending him one very nice reasoning email to him yesterday, and now he is harrassing me. This is the kind of people they want in the IPT???

Just as an aside, Linda, from reading the comments written to you by this fellow IPT member, it appears to me as if he is a little misguided and maybe unstable. He will put the noose around his own neck in time if he continues with his present forum behavior. Ignore him and keep on hitting 'em. ;)

BTW, if you go on the Venetian website, they are offering suites for a special price of $159 per night plus tax on several of the same dates as the IPT tournament. :)

I have known Linda for many years and she is a total class act all the way. And she can play a little too, don't be fooled by her self deprecating tone.
She will give you that little shy smile, and proceed to run out a rack or two.

This guy that has been sending her hate mail, has also been sending some to me. I wouldn't put it on here because it's so outrageous and deranged.
He was known in NYC pool circles as "Mental Mike" for obvious reasons.

Please disregard anything he writes as coming from the mouth of a true blue NUT! He is on here under the moniker Wonderlan also. He uses a variety of pseudonyms to hide under.
