I hesitated to say anything about this but I have been ignored by this member and I just wanted you all to know my expirience before you deal with this guy. First I bought this cue http://forums.azbilliards.com/showthread.php?t=111767. I paid with paypal on September 8th, I waited 10 days before asking for info about when the cue was shipped, on September 18th I email him asking when the cue was shipped. He replied saying it was on the way and the his post office was just a little slow about things. So I asked him twice for a tracking number, with no replies. I figured a package from Florida to Tennessee should not take anymore than 3-4 days. After the seller avoided my emails about a tracking number, I figured it was a scam, after I have never dealt with this guy before and he has no itrader feedback. On September 22nd I filed a non reciept claim with paypal. The next day, September 23rd, paypal was provided with a tracking number from the seller. Guess what the shipping date was? Yep, same day the 23rd of September. I feel it was very sad that I had to wait 2 weeks and file a paypal claim, just to get this guy motivated enough to ship me my cue. So on the 26th of September I finally get my cue. Am I happy? No, the seller forgot to mention one crutial thing in is description of the cue, even after being asked directly from another member in the original thead if the cue had been cut down at the joint. He avoided that question and says the taper seemed to have been worked on! That was not the case, this cue has had an inch hacked off at the joint, that is why the points look like they are touching the joint, becuase they almost are! The shaft is standard length and the butt is a little over an inch short. I have tried to contact the seller about the problem, but he is not accepting any PM's on AZ. I just wanted to put this out there for you guys to judge for yourself. I know this guy is doing some highend raffles right now, and I don't want anyone getting screwed on here.
 
It says BANNED under his ID so that is probably why you cant PM him.

Well

The cue pretty obviously had work done on it, and seeing the thread the seller seems to admit and continued to lower the price, so I guess I have mixed feelings on how deceptive he really was, IMO, there was an issue, and it came out before it was sold.

As far as the delays in shipping however, that is terrible.

Again, I dont know that the cue was sold for, but at the thread end it was down to $150 so really how hurt can you be?

I totally agree with you Ken. I carefully read every quote in this thread and especially in his last quote, he admitted that something went wrong with the cue concerning joint and taper roll. You shouldn't have gotten on this deal as far as the specs of the is concerned. About shipping, oh well, this is the sad part.

Ken hit it on the head. The delay in shipping was certainly lame, however, the seller disclosed what he knew of the joint issue in post #32. At least one other member pointed out that there may have been a joint repair (see post #28) and two others were pointing out that the points are too close to the joint. Knowing this, you still decided to purchase. Trust yourself, if it smells like $#!+, it probably is . . .

At least the lesson wasn't too expensive.

I knew this cue was more than Iffy. I thought that the cue possibly had a new front attached to handle but not so. Whatever, I would not of touched this cue for $100. I hate worst than anything to see a forum member ripped off. Now all we gotta do is figure outwho chazdillion has come back as...................

I knew there there was a problem, the shipping really pissed me off.

One AZer point blank asked him if the cue had been cut down and repaired, and all he mention was some kind of taper defect. When it was obvious it had been cut down, I gaurantee he knew it was cut down, he just did not mention it. That does not bother me as much as the shipping. It seems to me if I had not filed a complaint with paypal then he would have never shipped the cue. That is just shady. What if he does this on a raffle, 42 people, thats 42 paypal complaints. I just wanted to give everyone a heads up, I'll eat my investment, but I don't want anyone else to be had.
 
Almost was had

I was in the process of working a deal with this guy on a toeboy conversion and he then gave me the story of its really his friends etc. etc. I did have his phone number in a PM but it looks like I deleted it after the deal fell through. If any mods look at this feel free to look through my deleted PM's (if its possible) and fish this guy's number out to help out this member.

now that im back on az let me tell u about tulipwood lover and the real story......his paypal did not go through, then it was declined by paypal and i have proof of this...he had my phone number, email address, and i wasnt banned from az because of any bad deals. i was banned for sticking up for all of u on that josswest raffle which everyone agreed with me on.

tulipwood lover is another pawn shop junker..he did not respond to any emails so of course i did not ship the cue to him. when his paypal did go through and i sent the cue...still without contact of him...i received confirmation of delivery and heard nothing from him since this post. which i was unable to reply on because of the josswest raffle. he NEVER called NEVER emailed me with any issues of the cue. i would have gladly given him his money back.

Let me tell u what he DID do though. he told paypal that he never received the cue and it took the money out of my paypal account. it took me over 2 months to get paypal to get my money back and that was thank god to my usps delivery confirmation.

thanks to all of u azers that can read and saw that i did change the price of the cue and told what was wrong with it. and sticking up for me when i wasnt able to do it myself.

also if he got the cue on the 26th and felt like he was misled why did he not contact me for a refund. also why did it take him 3 days to post his concerns? maybe it has something with his inability to pay for something when he sais he will. maybe it is because HE is the theif. Good job not returning any of my or paypals emails about the dispute.

Oh and by the way ive sold $3k cues on here...how am i a theif...the cue u bought was $100 bucks. i may not be a theif but if i was im sure i wouldnt waste my time stealing $100 and ruining my rep when i am selling josswests and high end nittis, scruggs sneakys, another nitti, ummm a cog, my 2x4 george case, as well as other things. yeah im really a theif.

in my opinion u are rediculous. it took weeks for u to pay me. your the first unsatisfied customer in the world that does nothing for 3 days and then runs to az to complain instead of just resolving the issue with the seller. people like u ruin az for others with your inability to use simple thought processes. call seller = get money back. and read what your buying = no surprises at delivery. thats why i am never dealing with anyone that cannot give me a phone number to contact them by. its foolishness like this that ruin it for many people overseas that cant get anyone to deal with them because of people like u.

nows the time to admit u were late on payment and u didnt bother contacting me to see if i would take the cue back. and that u didnt read the description of the cue at all.....

if u dont say anything we all know what really happened and if u deny it i will be glad to show my paypal verification and i also saved the page of payment denied on paypal just incase something like this happened. i knew something was "shady" when u refused to give a contact number and that your email address consisted of the word "pawn". Maybe in your pawnshop u screw people all day so u thought i would do the same to you. well there are some nice people out there and 99% of the people i deal with will agree. you are the only reason you are dissatisfied. fess up...
 
In order to avoid misundestandings a good method to follow would be:
B/w 2 guys having a deal here , the guy with the lower and/or less significant itrader (got reputation but not from the most respected az members) will have to complete his part of the deal first, whatever it is- payment or delivery of a product. Dale could receive a small commision to refferee a case b/w 2 members upon disagreement (if he wants, just an idea).
I received a pm from a member with no itrader about my rc3.
The only acceptable method of payment in this case is western union.
I also received a trade offer from another for my Hill, with a lower itrader than me. He has to deliver the cue first if we proceed. That simple.
I remember another case a few months ago when another member with much lower and less significant itrader than mine (not coming from most respected az members like mine) refused to ship first on a trade deal. Well.. I simply refused the deal at all..
