I'VE NEVER SEEN ANOTHER SCHON LIKE THIS ONE. NOT EVEN ONE SIMILAR. I SENT AN E-MAIL TO EVAN AT THE BEGINNING OF THE WEEK BUT HAVEN'T HEARD BACK. CAN ANYBOD HELP ME WITH ANY INFORMATION ABOUT THIS CUE. ONLY THING I'M SURE OF IS THAT IT'S FROM THE "RUNDE ERA" AND THAT IT'S ORIGINAL.

I can't help with the identification but it's a awesome looking cue.

Marcus, is this the cue that Murph once had? If not, then there's at least 2 of this design. The long slender ivory boxes were also used on a box cue that they made. Neat cue for sure. :)

When I lived in Milwaukee in the early '80's, I saw several one-off cues that Bob Runde made. Most were just variations of their catalog cues, but a few were really special customs like this one.

Never saw this one before, but I sure love it.

I lived in Wisconsin for a few years and used to collect Schon's pretty heavy. I used to see every Schon imaginable and am 90% sure it's a custom. Awesome cue!!!

I know all there is to know about that cue.

What do you want to know?

Previous owners names...anything.

Let me know. I owe you a few favors.

Marcus,

I sent Evan an e-mail in June and just got an answer. Probably best to call him. Also, you can call Bob Runde and ask him - 262-857-6533 - he doesn't mind talking about old Schons.

I haven't seen one like this - looks like a great cue.

Good luck,

Chris

marcus. come on man. dont you have anything else better to do then make us all hate you eveyday.

i had a friend that used to buy a new custom one off schon every year so im sure they made one of a kind cues

i also heard bob doesnt take orders. if you want a cue you get to choose something he is making. basically he makes what he wants and thats it. i wonder if it was the same back in the schon days...

ken,
a pm with some info would be greatly appreciated. I really want to know how old it is, and if it really is a 1 of 1.

I played some more with the cue yesterday, and it really is a great hitter. Moves the ball very very easy.

Marcus another good person to ask is Bill Loucks "Hersheybar".He would really be able to help you out on this one.

I believe this cue to be of the era 1982-1987. I also believe that there was 3 of these made. I know of one that was for sale in southern MN.
