I ran a 104 in under 25 mins

Ok so for the first time on video I ran over a 100. The video was shot on a flip camera and my friend doesn't now how to put it on az so thanks to my friend Steve ? the video will follow soon please be patient as I will be sending it to him .I am so glad I finally caught a nice run on Camera

Very smooth gerard........Nicely done.... Didnt you get your first 100 and 200 ball run on the same day???

Steve, thanks again for all you did ! Although this was not my highest or smoothest (lol) run it was one of the few times on camera Last time I couldn't run a 10, & as you can see I had some trouble with table speed . I love just running balls I don't really gamble and tournaments that I play in are few and far between but I really like 14.1 .I think its the best game for my all around game.

That cloth looks lightning fast...

You're clearly a very good player, and play the game the right way ie fast and fluent.

Yes

@dmgwalsh & John Novak on 6-7-2010 I ran a 205 so I posted it and had many neg comments about my post It was one of my first post so I understand,104 is a far cry from 205 but atleast now anyone and everyone must believe I can run at least 100 I stand by my 6-7-2010 post but said then and say now it doesn't matter who believes. I posted this (Thanks Steve Kurtzs) for my love of the game 14.1 and so others could enjoy and learn from my mistakes

Nice fast run here. I hate watching guys that agonize over ever shot. You have a nice rhythm.

I was not one of the guys that doubted your earlier run. Seeing I have barely run a few 50s, I have no idea what it takes to run 100 or 200, and I have no reason to doubt you.

Why did people doubt you and why did you get many negative comments?

nice run.
it seems to me that when you know you are going to make the shot it makes the game that much easier. It is only then that you can do pretty much anything you want.
thx for the movie

Nice Run!

Excellent run, fast paced, the way it should be. This is how the greats played the game back in the day.

Congrats!

Not including Frank "The Snail" Taberski. Mike Shamos wrote about him in a recent Billiards Digest. I've heard that Frank liked to pick off the loose ones and then play a total safe. I suspect that strategy would not work today because if you let a player in he may run 200. Well, some players.

Very quick paced 104 and hats off to you. I'll rack up 14.1 randomly... never really practiced with a high run of 127 and I also prefer a fast rhythm but never thought to time it.

Nice Job

Gerard,

Nice run. Good to see how not having a ball in position for a conventional break shot on some of the racks didn’t faze you at all – at least it had no affect on your pace of play. Excellent racking by the Uski and exceptional video. Great to see runs like this. Where did this run take place?

Again - nice run.

saw this great run now and it makes me hungry to shoot some balls on my own

great pace and rythm, i like the way your shooting, very natural

the poolhall looks great too.

its kinda sad that straight pool is dead here, its such a wonderfull discipline when a player like you runs the racks

congrats!

I once ran 25 in 104 minutes.
I used to smoke a lot of pot at one time

i know a guy that may take 15 minutes to run ONE rack. now just imagine how many beers i had down when he ran a 70+ on me  lets just say i stopped playing that evening
