I think Jay should be banned until he finishes his book we are all dying to read. So,Jay,no more posting.Lets get this book done.
I can't wait to hear the road stories. You teaze us here and there, but lets get on it.
So until then,You should be officially BANNED.;) :D

Jay has been very busy trying to orginize a Super Event in LA, to be called the LA Open, like the DCC West of the Mississippi.

I am a bit addicted to Az. I'll admit it but I do work on my book all the time. I would say it is 90% complete. I have to leave out a few stories because there isn't room. Like the one about the car crash heading for Reno. That's why I put it on here. Sorry I'm so slow. I try to write a little every day, but other things get in the way.

I just want it to make the Az book club. All you guys inspired me to write it, whether you realize it or not. I may not have done it without your prodding. My goal is to have copies by DCC the end of next month. We'll see how realistic that is. I don't know yet what it will take to get it printed. I need an artist to design a cover shot. I have a picture for him.

My step son is an art student at ECU. He has done some cd/album covers for some bands. I might could talk him into a book job. He's a college student, so he works cheap!

You know Jay, I am really looking forward to reading your book. Your reputation as a tournament director and ref are superb, and I know your book will be put together with the same dilligence you give to your other pool duties. And yes, it is your DUTY to pooldom to pen this book. You have much to offer in way of stories and humor. We the peeps appreciate you doing this for us!

While we're on the subject of pending books, I can't wait for Jennie to finish Keith's story either. One of everybody's all time fun players to watch HAS to have his story written as well. JAM is to be applauded for all that she's posted in wikipedia about the players and her work towards getting Keith's life on paper.

Boy, how I wish Billy Incardona and Earl Strickland would write their autobiographies!

Jay, if you need an artist to design or use yours & you get near Kernnersvill,NC(winston-salem) look up hedgecock studios, richard is a great artist & my family or if you get to a giants football game give the design to Madison hedgecock & tell him to give it to his uncle, just tell them cus from baltimore, rick said to do it cheap

I was just there too, in Fayettevile.

Speaking of who should be writing

Terry,

Why don't you start a thread about pool players whose autobiography you would like to see? Who knows if they hear there is interest we might be able to con, err persuade some of them to write or co-write something.

Funny you should mention that Hu. I just finished a "War and Peace" type treatise to "Santa" on a new thread.

Also, I can't keep up with you in the "UserCP" section, if you know what I mean. (;) ) I tried several times but still must wait. It should be there in the next few days or so. But I'm trying! :D

PS-Same message for Rubyron and iowa_player and fatboy....
