From some Taiwanese "wannabe" hustler. Ala Earl Strickland. "You are more lucky, than U are good". I gave the "classic" reply, the more I practice, the "luckier" I get. Playing 10 ball, no slop, albeit it a short rack rotation game. No need to get pissed off.
 
You know why its better to be "lucky" than "good" in their eyes sir ?

Because they will still give you the weight and think they can beat you ! :smile:
 
Just agree. Like Efren does. He always says he got lucky. Just say you are right I got lucky, would you like to try again, maybe you will get lucky this time.
 
I played a local league player in my area for $10 a rack 9 ball, he a decent bar player, I could give him the 6 out but wouldnt take it because of his pride, anyways I beat on him for 30 games and when we were done he told me that he couldnt win because I was lucky and had all easy shots.

I guess he never heard of position play:D

When they think your lucky they won't ask for any/anymore weight. A good hustler always tries to look lucky while he's picking your wallet. Johnnyt

Doesn't bother me when someone thinks I'm lucky. As a matter of fact often I will call myself "Mr. Lucky" during the match/game.

Would rather be lucky than good any day. Skill has it's limits, luck knows no bounds. Take it with a smile, ignore the opponent and play on.

everybody knows I AM LUCKY! always have been always will be. just tell 'em you were good that game and they must be thinking of me.
 
Hmmm

Beat a decent player in a local tourney in 8 ball race to 5. He told me I was lucky to beat him. I told him you were lucky to win one game because I felt kinda bad beating you up that I LET you win one. But next time I'm just gonna go ahead and skunk ya !! I won 5-1.

he will definitely give you action if he thinks your lucky, and if he doesn't tell him he has no heart
