I Would Not Be the Mosconi Cup Captain Again! - UNLESS...............

the problem is you have to pay your own expenses at first.

LMAO, I hear Paris, TX is lovely this time of year.

But FYI, this year they jacked up earnings to $10k and $20K. Not sure what captains got though.

That was because it was the 20th Anniversary. I heard Buddy got 5k.....but the problem is you have to pay your own expenses at first (you get paid three weeks later, or even longer in some cases).....I was ok with this, but it's tough if you're having any financial challenges.

You must have missed this post while puffing up your ego. I'll ask again, has anyone asked you to be the "Mosconi Cup Captain"????????????????

ONB

I know you're a bit up there in age, and I've been taught to appreciate my elders. One piece of advice though - when asking questions it appears like you're a bit senile when you add 16 question marks to something that has a very obvious answer.

Food for thought old buddy. ;) 'The Game is the Teacher'

You do not know that I am "up there in age" for starters.

The "obvious" answer has not been stated by you. Did someone ask you to be the Mosconi Cup Captain of you just full of sh#t as usual?

Food for thought Old Buddy, try answering the question without looking like a moron.

Best post yet.. Amen
I am the son of a carpenter as well CJ.

That is where I learned how to cut a board twice and it was still too short. That and hammering my thumb on occasion and learned how to say bad words.

But, I think we are all Sons of a Carpenter in the grand scheme of life.

I see One Stroke is back.. Maybe it should be No Stroke...
You can call it what ever stroke you like that's probably something you actually know something about ,,because it obviously not coaching

I like the way you think, C.J. Some of those bullet points have merit, especially the team that eats, lives, sleeps, and practices together in unison.

Some will go too far to achieve that unison.

More than 30 years ago, a friend of mine who was Volley Ball Coach told me that all the members of the Japanese National Volley ball Team, the coaches of the team and the Manager of the team sleep together Nude in a big Hall in their respective beds in order to create the unison of the team.

I am not suggesting such methods for Team USA. There are other ways of creating that unison.

Not a Big Fan.. unless of course it was the girls volley ball team.

Welcome to the real world CJ. I took a business trip two weeks ago. I had to pay all my expenses then submit receipts to my company to be reimbursed.

Take it easy on CJ

He is working hard on the keyboard! Over 6,000 posts with only 16 I Trader sales of his DVD's! Give the working stiff a break!

Then what are you suggesting? Cause I now have serious concerns about you (while also wishing I was a Japanese volleyball coach). :grin-square:

That total BS. We pay for Cleary's expenses. Just make a thread next time Watch.

Expense Money is the Teacher.

What else do you need to win; how about bowls of M &Ms with the brown ones removed?

the Ropes Course

I believe the Ropes Course will serve to unify Team USA just fine.

Why would you be on another Mosconi thread if you said you never watched a MC.
Because want to be the chode to chase off one of the few accomplished players that take their time to post here. What are you going to do as and encore, start a bank shot feud with John Brumback?
Your name has nine ball in it and you haven't seen a Mosconi cup!?

Your obviously missing the point .. We are talking about coaching not playing ,, what are his accomplishments as a coach / teacher

You raise a good point but perhaps another question should be asked. What pro/pros on the Mosconi Cup team would even listen to a coach?

Looks like PJ, got banned, again! :frown: Since CJ, is his favorite target, that only took less than a hundred posts! He had to leave the sandbox because he still can't get along with the other kids. Old No Baller, RIP! LOL. Nonsense! :grin-square:

Best,
Mike

I should have known by his charming personality
