...that she can not afford to pay yore trips to the pool tournaments any more but is willing to send you and pay the expenses for only one tournament a year, which one you will choose?I know that you will have problem deciding between derby city and BCA in las vegas.
This is my recommendation and why.

choose BCA In Las vegas in May and start making reservations for the hotel for the following reasons:
1.It is a total package and you can see both men and women,amateur and pros,bar Box and 9 foot tables.
2.you have Cue Tech coaches/instructors working tirelesssly and giving free lessons
3.More booths displaying the pool merchandise
4.fabulous places to visit in las vegas.
5.besides lots of fancy restaurants , the tournament site ( Riviera has food court with varieties of foods.My favorite is La salsa
5.hookers every where.I am just kidding:D .you need to concentrate on pool game if you have to win a match and should not look at the hookers at the splash bar.:cool:

Derby city has unreal action but at BCA also you will find that.

I know that you have the ULTIMATE action in Derby city and no body can dispute that.But you do not have other stuff such as women players, 280 bar tables with so many pretty women playing on those bar tables and high 5 fiving, good food, neon lights, shows,hookers, dang I mentioned hookers again.My bad.:cool: :D :cool:
 
I would take the venue w/the most pool... DCC. And, it's only a couple hunded miles down the road.

VERY sorry I didn't find you in Vegas; maybe next time.

This was my first BCA tournament; but I am picking DCC if I can only go to one. Here are the reasons:

WAY more gambling action - I find the pro's play a more wide open style when gambling than during tournaments.

There are more women pro's each year at DCC; so you could still get your "fix".

There are TONS of bar table tournaments and lots of small table action as well at DCC.

DCC also has straight pool, one-pocket, banks, and occasionally 3-cushion as well.

There were more booths at BCA by far; but I really didn't see very much that wasn't also available at DCC.

AZB room has 2 tables at DCC, and the members get to play free all week.

Food is better at BCA (but not by much); but I know a FANTASTIC Louisville restaurant close by the venue.

I cannot rate the hookers at the 2 venues (I'm happily married....and wish to stay so).

In other words - DCC wins by a mile and I expect to see you there in January (I'm buying breakfast at Lynne's Paradise Cafe - but I do not believe they have many hookers there).

It is a tough call.If one has money to spare ,I recommend both Derby City and BCA in Vegas.
I hope you enjoyed yore visit to vegas.I had a blast.So many women at BCA and liked that most.
If creeks don`t rise I shall be in derby city and eat ay lynne`s paradise cafe.:cool:
 
Gotta love em all...DCC, BCA, Valley Forge and the US Open. Wait til November when the Qlympics hits L-Ville, that should really confuzzle the one tournament a year guy/girl!! I for one will always be a DCC guy w/ VF coming inna close second but November may make me think again, minus the hookers of course

That is a good decission.Splash Bar is in Riviera casino.You will have a blast at Splash bar.
 
After hearing some of the guys talk at the PH last night Vegas sounds good to me but I'd love to go to the DCC too. Sadly, neither is likely to happen soon.:(

Hey Vag. I see hookers mentioned in almost all your posts about the BCA. You seem quite fascinated by them. Is there something you're not telling us, you dog you?
 
While I haven't gotten a chance to go to either one of them, I did speak to Timberly the other day and she said that her trip to the BCA this year was one of the best times of her life. She is still on cloud nine days after returning. I believe her reasoning for this was due more to the things she was able to do and see in Las Vegas. I'm curious as to what she would pick if I asked her this question?

I know she loves the DCC action, but all the other things to do in Vegas are sure hard to pass up.

As for me, I will try both next year and get back to you! :D

How are the pool rooms in china? Are you adjusted to the climate,food etc?Did you have any action so far?

I was under the impression that the Riviera will be blown up soon to make way for a new casino. Maybe Splash II, I dont know for sure.

by the way many customers at splash bar got frustrated with one particular bar tender because they felt that he was ignoring them.I did not have any problem.Inspite others were waiting to get his attention he used to take my order as soon as he saw me at the bar.I gave some advise to frustrated drinkers on how to get the attention of a bar tender.This bar tender rememberd me from my previous visit to BCA tournament in 2006.I was told that people usually remember me because of my wild beast like behavior.:cool: :D :cool:
