Just came to my head while I was in the pool hall practicing today lol, if say for one week or few days, you can have the skills of one professional pool player today retired or currently playing who would it be.

Just the pool skills and pure talent, who would it be and what would you do for that one week?

Just one player!!

My pick would be Efren ... took me a good 15 minutes between him and earl but id go with Efren.

i would go with ralf souquet. I would really like to know what it's like to play with that type of mechanics and state of mind in competition.

don't know what i'd do for that week though, guess it would depend on what going on at the time.

I would go with Alex. But I probably wouldn't even play pool, I'd be too busy just going around and getting all the ladies.

I would pick the ghost but Efren would be a sporty pick if the ghost isn't available.

I think Efrens the obvious choice just bc of sheer knowledge of shots and CB control. But it would be awesome to be Earl and not have to think about a layout, just look and there it is Bingo!

Buddy hall would be a nice choice as well.

My choice would be between efren and earl as well, if I could have his skill without all the weirdness lol but my vote goes efren because he's done things with a Cueball I didn't think possible, I think earl is better at pocketing shots consistently but cb control is funnier to watch and more impressive to me

My style leads me to choose Corey Deuel. I'm a super technical player, and I always enjoy watching Corey play, win or lose.

There is a specific kind of technical beauty in Corey's game that I just can't seem to resist.

I love watching Efren, McCready, Earl, and other naturally gifted players, but I just don't think I could enjoy and/or fully appreciate their styles as much as others could.

I'm a thinker and a bit of a show-off, for better or for worse. I just love pushing the limits in my game. :)

My pick is the earthquake. Late 70's to early 80's my $$ was on him.

You have great taste in players! :grin-square:

That is one thing that most folks who haven't met Keith don't know, he's only 4'3. Pagulayan and rousey call him shortay.

Have I said enough?

What u mean if? I do play like a pro no I'm jk I would have too go with Alex P

Earl Strickland. When he's in top gear...just sit in the chair and watch and learn. Johnnyt

I'd never want to do that, because if I played this way for a few days, I'd go crazy if I could not do it again.

I'd think Efren would be almost everyone's pick. Maybe Duel as he's one of the more creative guys out there.

There can be only one. Darren Appleton.

So I have to give up that level of ability and go back to my current level aftr a week?

I wouldn't want to do it. Don't get me wrong, that could be a great great week, but I think it would ruin pool for me for the rest of my life. Not worth it.

But if I HAD to do it, I'd be torn between Efren and Ronnie O'Sullivan. The ultimate in effortless accuracy and precision vs. the ultimate in making the CB dance in ways other players wouldn't even attempt. Actually I think I just talked myself into Efren.

Hmmmm

I'm surprised no one has said SVB yet. As big of a Shane fan as I am, I would have to say Thorsten Hohmann. He has a more traditional approach to the game IMO. I would spend that entire week trying to break Mosconi's record
