This whole thread is far to derogatory for the times we live in now.
I can't stand the way a glove feels when I'm shooting, it's like putting a nylon ski mask on your face and then rubbing it, just feels strange.
Funny part is that probably up to about 10 years ago, if you wore a glove you were a banger. Dead giveaway, just like a Cuetec was LOL Now if you see a guy/girl with a Cuetec chances are they can string more racks than you can run balls in straight pool.
Personally, the feel of my stroke is critical to my concentration and overall performance. I play with light cues with flat ivory joints so the feel of the stroke after striking the cue ball is very noticeable and the way the shaft glides and feels in my closed bridge hand allows me to develop a much better shooting rhythm and I just perform better.
Very funny RJ, 90% of the top 3C players in the world use VERY high end gloves, ($20&up) for playing.
For 35 years I didn't wear a glove, once I started I never looked back!
If gives the player a consistent feel and stroke, especially in VERY humid areas of the World year round!
Yes Sir, exactly why I recently returned to "The Glove". I wanted to buy a Predator Glove, but the Dealer told me they only make them for right-handed players ?
I know there are some really nice ones for 3C, but I can't seem to find a source.
ktrepal85 and HurdyGurdy...I have a question for both of you!
Is it slightly embarrassing to show the world that you are two insecure, children that may be in adult's bodies?
Seriously, you might want to get started on growing up. I can only surmise from your posts, that you are probably in the 12-14 age bracket.
My fear is that you are older than 20 and may be depended upon by others for some kind of mature decisions in your daily lives.
It took a little getting used to, but now I like it because it's always the same. The friction between the shaft and bare skin is easily affected by numerous outside influences that can drastically alter performance. With the glove, it's pretty much always constant.
