I use Triangles, but since they are not in the list, I would go for the old standard...Le Pro.
 
I've only had experience with Moori and LePro but I'd choose my Moori Med over a LePro any day.
 
I also use triangles-but I think any of these tips on my favorite cue would work.

That is definately the bottom line, the tip doesn't make the player... I'll run racks with any of them... I just chose the cheapest, most readily available solution...:p

And it will continue to do so.

Sniper going away, and I pay $15 professionally installed.

Don't discount who is installing the tip, as a botched job on a layered tip can diminish the playability.

I'll drink to that Seymore!!! The tip (or the cue either for that matter) don't make the player. And I too prefer a Triangle tip, but not because they are cheaper. I just like the way they hit and REALLY like the way they hold chalk. I'm suprised they weren't on the list.

I like the Everest. I would take it if it was put on for free. Otherwise, I will just install a lepro myself ( I have about 40 left) should last me about 20 years or so.
 
Since I have Talisman Pro mediums on my player shafts... and now on my recently purchased 60" customized Bob Frey SP back-up... so if I had to play with one of the tips listed in the poll... I chose the Sniper... because I haven't tried one yet and they get some rave reviews here.

Don't get me wrong... I'm completely happy with Talisman Pro-s (like 'em better than the WBs)... I'm just curious as how the Sniper plays by comparison.

I didn't realize so many people liked the triangle tip. I've never played with one. From what i gather they are a hard tip? I'm currently playing with a everest tip, but i'm going to try something new. The everest tip isn't hard enough for me. Close, but just a tad to soft. Any suggestions?

Try the Tiger-hard...should be exactly what you're looking for.;)
 
I am so used to the Talisman med pro that I cannot shoot with anything else. I have a Sniper one one of my cues. Nothing wrong with them. Like with anything it comes down to personal preference.
 
I have a sniper on my regular playing cue. All I can say is that my game seems alot more consistent with the sniper. Im wondering how the everest tip compares to the sniper.

I used Triangle for years. After trying many others in between, I always returned to Triangle...until recently. I had to try the Sniper. I love it, and I bought a box of 'em and I now try to tell everyone to use them (so I won't have too much of an advantage;) :D ;) :rolleyes: ).
 
The top two on the poll list are the top two on my personal list.

I have tried Mooris, Everest, Sniper, and Le Pro

I will for the foreseeable future always have either an Everest or a Sniper on my playing cue.

ilike morri but i havent tryed the sniper yetjust put new morri hard on my schon and joss ,dont want to change them yet but i will try them sooner are later
