If you honestly had to sell off all your Pool Cues, Cases, etc, to

Pay Medical Bills.

Pay Back Taxes.

Hire a good Lawyer.

Move to another state.

Survive un, or under employment.

What Pool Cue & Case would you keep as you one and only treasure?

Kind of a nonsense question there cowboy. Any real man would sacrifice everything and anything for his family. To save a particular case or cue would just show extreme selfishness and lack of honor. This is like a "What is the favorite cue/case combo you own" disquised as some horrible what if scenario. JMO......Dan

I would have to keep my Turnbushkin, very very cue it will only go up in value.

I did it already and all I kept was my SmartCue, a Cuetec competitor, with a McDermott shaft. I won quite a bit of money using that ugly combination. The case I kept was an old silver McDermott soft case. It was for a while very liberating to only have this basic setup.

I don't see this as a completely nonsense question, as not everyone has a family to support.

If I had to decide what to sell for the questions listed .... umm ... medical bills? $20/month and medical bills don't count against credit report as long as you are paying something!

Back taxes? Who ratted me out? And if it's for taxes my reply would be ... "cues? what cues? Are some of these worth money? I had no idea".

Hire a good lawyer? I'd keep my cues and risk a public defender, at least I have my cues when I get out.

Survive unemployed? Doesn't everyone with a cue stick do this without having to decide which cues to sell?

If I found myself in such financial straights, I'd stop playing pool for a while so I'd have more time to look for a better job or a second one. As for cues, they can be replaced.

Most of us probably have at least one cue that wouldn't be worth selling anyway.

More than your signed Balakbushka with serial number ?

You forgot, it also has extreme birdseye and a very curly forearm, with that little sticker made in Eastern Flaboia, you know with out that sticker the cue would be worthless!!!!;)

Funny you should ask. I just sold all my pool sticks and case. See my signature? My ex said she didn't have the money to pay half on my sons airfare so, I needed money or I wouldn't get my son from Texas to here for the summer. It was my first custom cue and I cried a little but, it's only wood and some things are way more important. I love my kid and I can get more cues down the road. So yes, I would and did sell all my cues and cases.
