AZ is a place for some people to share those things and then to give people that don't agree with them shit and then for the "outsiders" to get banned for not conforming. Well there's no ****ing way that I'm going to conform. I'm going to continue to stand up for my friends and talk shit to people I don't like. If people don't like the shit I have to say, DON'T READ MY ****ING POSTS. I don't give anybody on here shit for standing up for people they respect or admire or whatever so there's no reason for me to be given the shit I do. I'm not sure if people are jealous that I'm actually friends with a top player and all they can do is drool over the players they like and hope someday to get their autograph or what, but people need to get over that shit. If I get banned again for stating my opinions and standing up for a friend, so be it. But I refuse to be like the rest of you and change just so people will like me.

After reading the original post and your subsequent responses I can see why you were banned.It was clearly a case of aggravated self-centered importance on your part coupled with the belief that you get brownie points for knowing a pool player.BECAUSE IT HAPPENED TO YOU DOES NOT MAKE IT IMPORTANT! Having an opinion does not make you special.Knowing another individual does not make you special.Being a "nut hanger"(A phrase I recently learned during the Varney Nightmare fiasco)does not make you special.Your use of profanity is a sign of a weak imagination.Teenagers resort to extensive profanity because they think it makes them sound more adult while they are throwing temper tantrums.In the future I will avoid your rants regarding the unfairness of life.Many of the under educated are over opinionated.Your tantrum herein is a classic example.Your "opinions" do your friend a disservice.

How long was this guy banned for? I'm just curious because if I was in his position I think I could've planned a better rant for my comeback! Maybe even without the "sentence enhancers!" ;) :D

Looks like he was last active on 7/08, and then came back with this thread on 7/23.
His last post here was 7/24, and now it just says "nevermind", but I read it before the edit, and I think it would have gotten him a much longer time-out.
 
This board is NOT an OPEN forum, nor should it be. It is an asset that many of us get to enjoy that requires regulation.

Having pros visit this site increases the value to this asset for many members.

There is a common tendency for unknowns to have a swing at a tall poppy, to call them out on their inconsistencies or imperfections. In order to encourage pros to join this community we need to be on the side of caution regarding allowing rudeness toward pros.

Now if a pro wants to risk his reputation by attacking another pro then it makes sense to give them a bit of rope to hang themselves. It provides an interesting insight into the mind of pros, which is a lot more interesting than getting insights into the mind of wannabe tall poppy slayers.

If the moderators don't get this balance right they'll soon hear about it. You can't please all the people all the time. However, I for one would like to see more pros feeling comfortable posting here and if that means some of the members have to bite their tongue a bit, so be it.

Here's the deal.

You read the rules and abide by them.

I don't care even a little bit if you don't like them or agree.

Worry about the one person who is ( guaranteed ) going to be banned permanently the next time the you cuss anyone out. The rules are a sticky post at the top of the main forum.


You are the only one responsible for you, make no comparison to anyone else and don't worry about what someone else said.
