Hey John
If I`m at the SBE this year. I`m buying you a beer sir. Take care of yourself over there & come home safe. Jeff

I personally don't see this whole episode completed until you receive your refund followed by
appropriate iTrader feedback posted to reflect the transaction.

Good luck and stay safe while in-country.

JFORNEY36, The only reason I am posting on the board is because you will not answer my PM's or ANY of my phone calls. When you had the cue for sale you answered the phone all the time. Why are you not answering my calls or PM's? I sent payment on October 2, 2008. Where is my cue? You never even sent me a tracking number or anything? Did the cue even ship?

I know this may not be your fault but at least respond back or give me the shipping number or something!!! I only bought this cue from you because we had a previous deal and it went great. I understand that it might have been lost in the mail or whatever but at least respond and tell me something. You did responded on the 26th of this month saying you will "check into it" but that is it. It's kind of fishy when I call you and the phone hangs up after two rings without an answer. You gotta love caller ID.

So I am asking again....PLEASE RESPOND AND LET ME KNOW WHAT IS GOING ON! I would absolutely love to get this resolved peacefully. I am sure it is just some kind of mix up but we need to straighten this out.

John

I am surprised to see that his itrader is still at 100% positive after this transaction:confused:

Well, I've never bought or sold anything here on AZB, so I don't think that I should mess with someone's iTrader.
I voice my opinion or displeasure with Rep.

(it carries some weight... imo)

You're exactly right...no one should post itrader feedback except for the parties involved in the transaction. That's why I'm surprised it it still at 100% positive.

My bad experiance with him hppened long before AZ starter the itrader. Otherwise I would have posted negative feed back.

Well, as far as I'm concerned, no matter how this turns out for John, I will never do business with JForney36. Also, I might add, I will link this thread when he tries to sell things in the future until I get tired of doing so. I realize that even doing homework may not have helped in this situation. If linking this thread will make one person think twice and ask questions, then it will be worth it.

As a side note, I do believe that the service Marcus offers is a good one (escrow), it is just very unfortunate that things have to come to that.

Something similar happened to me also. We traded cues, i sent mine and he never sent his. He claimed that i was a scammer and i tried to get a free cue. He received my cue a week or so late b/c the mail sucked, but he sent me pics of the packaging. It was torn open and the schon that i sent him was gone. all he said was in the package was the shaft. to this day i dunno if the mail lost it or if he took it.

Was this recent?
Was your shipment insured?

Many people have gone back and left iTrader for deals that happened previously.

I suggest that people who have been burned by him, leave negative iTrader for him now......

I've been reading this thread since it's started and I can only say that I'm puzzled as to why this issue hasn't been resolved until now with all the attention Mr Forney gets...

On another train of thoughts, I appreciate and understand the benefit of having a seller/buyer transaction report "sticky note" but I wonder if wouldn't it be a good idea to have a "black list" type of sticky note where AZers with numerous bad transactions are marked down so other people will know and avoid these "offenders"...just my $0.02

Yeah, I think that would be useful. But you have the itrader, you have the sticky on buyer/seller transactions, you can do a search for anything on them, and you have the option of using an escrow. And of course you can check around a bit with others.

There is enough of a chance to get a good idea of who you are dealing with.

Unfortuneately, with the exception of the escrow, there really are NO gaurantees that you won't be the first guy to get screwed! This guy has good deals in the past, so this buyer has reason to think that there is a good indication of a good seller. The truth is, you never know for certain.

The best thing, unless you are very confident, is to use the escrow. I would say it is well worth the cost on anything upwards of $400-500. JMO

Although there are many on here, who I have never met, that I would not hesitate to do business with. Ihave done a few deals on here, and have yet to have any issues.

I absolutely HATE to see this kind of thing:angry:
