You responded to my post as if I had beraded Jamie for leaving the forum. I responded and inquired as to why, since my posts were the only nice posts towards Jamie on this entire thread.

Oh, you mean kind of like when I posted up the King of Cars post, when you felt compelled to respond to my post that you, in fact, owned a car dealership and must have more expertise on the King of Cars than I. Yeah, that's the ticket.

As far as the WSOP, I watched it on PPV and attempted to provide some updates to the readers of this forum that may be interested in the WSOP. Why would you state I have no idea or expertise on the subject matter? I was trying to contribute to this forum in a constructive manner. Do I have to have expertise to provide updates? Once again, what is your point? Do you want the readers of this forum to think that I have no right to post updates to the WSOP because I have no expertise in poker? Give me a break.

Your sarcasm is duly noted.

JAM

I wasn't talking about the updates. Those were fine and dandy. I was talking about the number of entrants, the amount that Mike Laing was guaranteed, the number of entrants left after day 2A, and the payout structure. And I never contradicted anything you said concerning Josh Towbin or "Chopper". If you will read my post I simply stated that he made a ton of money with his dealerships and not just the "other areas" as you posted. If I would have posted some information that you disagreed with or knew was wrong then I would fully expect you or someone else to correct me.
Why does the fact that I have money bother you? I worked my ass off the past couple of years to get what I've got. I've gone through a couple of failing businesses, a career of college and countless other things before I finally settled down. I have a lot of pool playing friends and I don't agree with some of their choices or actions. It amazes me how you are so one sided when someone voices their opinions about scuffling pool players.

Meanwhile, at the AZ playground....

What is that old Cyndi Lauper song? "True Colors"

I think it goes, "I see your true colors shining through."

Well, my little sugar mouse, let me try to explain it to you the best way I can. I could give a hill of beans how much money is in your bank account. I probably have much more than you by way of wealth, but I am older than you. Personally, I don't think the size of a person's pocketbook makes them any better than the next guy and never felt the need to flex my money muscle on this pool forum.

I posted some updates about the WSOP as a courtesy to some forum readers who may not have subscribed to the Pay-Per-View. I did the best I could. Today, on this thread, you posted that my contribution to the forum about WSOP came from someone who has no expertise. Again, I don't understand why that has anything to do with me posting about it. I was trying to contribute in a positive manner to this forum.

Now, for what it's worth, Mike Laing happens to be a friend of my boyfriend's. As a matter of fact, they just spoke on the phone a few nights ago. I don't know him very well. I only met him once. I posted up a little snippet about his status in the tournament. Is it okay with you that I posted about Mike Laing? Do I have to be a poker subject-matter expert to make mention of him? He is friends with many pool players, which is why I mentioned his name in the first place on this forum as it pertains to the WSOP tournament in Vegas at the Rio.

As far as opinions about pool players go, I will agree that my opinions are more slanted in that arena, and as such, I express my opinions on pool player topics from time to time.

Now we come to the King of Cars. I apologize for not posting a more detailed description of this man, his car dealership, and where his wealth comes from. I did not think it would be needed when I was only making a jovial post about chop-chop. For whatever reason, this didn't sit right with you, me talking about the King of Cars. You had to insert that you own a car dealership. Therefore, I guess in your mind, you are the subject-matter expert about cars. How dare I talk about the King of Cars and chop-chop and not elaborate on where he gets his wealth.

Is there anything else you would like to discuss? I would be happy to reply once more.

I just want JAM to call me "her little sugar mouse". That would really make my day.

Does anyone know if the Blue Genie plays pool?

I didnt post anything negative about your post concerning the King of Cars. I posted that he made a lot of money with his dealerships as well. And also, I don't appreciate the negative rep that you gave me for responding to your post calling me a monkey. Again, if you will read, and this time COMPREHEND, I didn't say anything about your updates on the WSOP pay per view. I only corrected the mistakes that you had in your posts concerning Mke Laing's position in the tourney, his guaranteed payout, the number of entrants left at the time, and so on. You can post on any topic and in any thread that you want to, that is the meaning of OPEN FORUM, but so can anyone else, splenda mouse.

One more time with feeling, "HEY HEY WERE THE MONKEES, WE LIKE TO TRAVEL AROUND", "HEY HEY WERE THE MONKEES, JUST ABOUT THE ONLY GAME IN TOWN". Okay, I made up that last part. It sounded good.

Au contraire, you little sugar-free mouse! You posted on this thread that I am no subject-matter expert on the WSOP, as if there was something wrong with me posting about it. Do you COMPREHEND?

Thank you for giving me permission to post on any topic and in any thread that I want to. I kind of took that for granted, but I appreciate you taking the time to grant me this privilege.

Once again, there was nothing wrong with you posting about the wsop or anything for that matter. I just stated that there were mistakes in your posts that I corrected for anyone that was interested in the stats on the wsop and Mike Laing at the time of the posting. It was kind of like the way you corrected Jay on his spelling of Immonen in another thread.

Have you ever wondered what kind of name is Tork? Almost as bad as Helfert, and please don't spell it Helfart. Several have already. It stinks!

Let's do a little recap!

Here is what you posted on this thread: You routinely correct people when it pertains to information that you think is incorrect or subject matter that you feel is not their area of expertise, yet you posted a ton of information about the wsop , all of which was way off and you have no idea or expertise on the subject matter.

You don't know what my expertise is in. I can write about the Space Shuttle and the International Space Station if I want to, and I don't need to be an expert to write about them either for purposes of posting on this forum. Again, what is your point about "you have no idea or expertise on the subject matter"? Who are you? The King of Siam?

I do not make it a habit to go around correcting people about information, as you state. I was joking with Jay Helfert on another thread. I do not believe he would find my response insulting, as I do find your responses to my posts on this thread insulting.

Can I clear anything else up for you today?

Jam,

I appreciated the correction. Thanks. No biggie.

No, you can't clear anything up, period. It's all very clear thanks.
End of discussion.

Werent there 5 Monkees?
1. Mike Nesmith
2. Mickey Dolenz
3. Davy Jones
4. Peter Tork
and
5. Russ "Short Bus" Chewing

thought I read that somewhere once. They eventually had to kick Russ out b/c he kept woofing at Peter to play some million dollar sets of 9 ball.

JAM might be able to confirm this but I had heard somewhere that Keith used to be buddies with or was staked by Mickey Dolenz:confused:
