I'm looking to challenge anyone!!

Bruce "SuperStroke" Christopher was a wannabe pro who liked to hang around the real pros. He was with Fats, when Fatty played Mosconi in the "$25K Shootout" on Wide World of Sports, with Howard Cosell commentating. Christopher supposedly was gonna "warm up" Fatty, but it never happened. He advertised the $1,000,000 'challenge' for a few years in the pool mags, until someone called his bluff. Then he upped the ante to $1.5M in the ads. The games never happened, and he finally faded away into the background.

Wow, this is kinda sad :(

I live in Northern Canada.
Fly to me and I will play you for $5 a game.
My wife will prepare whale blubber for you too.
Think of it as Eskimo sushi.

Look for Igloolik's Pool Hall, I'll be waiting.

Be fair to this poor fellow and tell him the truth:

I remember that ad hanging in a poolroom around 1996 or '97. It said "Bruce 'Superstroke' Christopher will play anyone for $1,000,000!" LOL.. it was hilarious. It seems like there were a whole bunch of kids with him in the picture hanging all over him :-)
