i madea post about retireing from AZB at 10,000 posts then I disappeared for the past week and change,

I did that post to check the value and perception of the Fatboy brand and myself, I was very pleased with the response, sure there are the haters and I hope to win them over someday, i hate no one.

I have been very busy with biz, I havent hit a ball since the Derby and since the end of October I have played very little, the least amount of pool since 06. I just havent had the time. But thats changing I will be back at it in about 3 weeks full time.

one of my closest friends dropped dead from a heart attack at 46 years old in the gym last Saturday, we were like brothers, he was a retired pro bodybuilder in perfect condition, except he had a bad heart, he didnt have any warning signs, towards the end of the workout he went down, he was training with a Dr who knows CPR, the Ambulance was there in 5 minutes, nothing could be done after an hour he was gone. That hit me hard real hard.

I'll be back on AZB in the near future, I will share the reasons why I have been busy and am gonna stay busy later on, for those interested, and for those who dont care, dont waste your time reading about whats reallly going on:wink:.

best,
eric

Sorry for your loss, FB. Losing friends sucks, especially when you don't see it coming. Staying busy will help somewhat, but the only thing that will truly heal that wound is time.

Sorry to hear about your buddy, Eric.

For the other.. first things first.. take care of business so you have more time to concentrate on pleasure (not that you didn't know).

See you around when you're all caught up. You really haven't missed much.. just how to aim, who's the best ___, and why such-and-such sucks.

Hate to hear about your friend. Take care of what you need to, best of luck to you bud.

Talk to you soon.

Eric, you have a LOT of people on these boards who like you and respect you. Please don't ever go away, permanently. I'm so sorry to hear about your loss. I will be praying for you.

Oh hell dude, didn't even notice you were gone.....

P.S. Sorry about your friend. my condolences

no words

This is one of those things that is hard to find words for.
I've been there (losing a friend like that unexpectedly) and all I can say is grieve at your pace and lean on friends and family.
Remembering my friend still brings a tear to my eye, and I won't mind if that never changes.
Hang in there.

sorry for your lose eric....hope to meet up with you soon and compare tattoos....keep your head up and enjoy life.....mickey

Eric, sorry to hear about the loss of such a close friend, they are hard to come by and dearly missed when gone.

Wish you all the best when you get back to playing the game you love, I too have a bad back that lets me play pool just enough to want to play more!....hehe

regards,
David Harcrow

Thats so sad to lose a friend and at that age.
I am promoting the "Fatboy" brand here in Colorado (I should get the first franchise of what ever it is) When someone asks what cue I'm playing with I tell them it's a "Fatboy cue".
And I'm telling them the truth. I just changed the tip to an unknown brand layered tip from Korea and it hits lights out.

My condolences on the loss of your good friend.....

On another note....I didn't know there was a "Fatboy Brand"....for the most part I like many of your threads and your insight to other things too....but, seriously, this has narcissim all over it....not condemning you Eric.........just saying

Sorry for your loss. I lift 3 or 4 days a week and go jogging most days and that's how I could meet my end too but it's what I enjoy so I will keep doing it.

A guy I lift with had a friend who died shoveling snow a couple weeks ago.

I was going to ask if you ever found that 10 thousand but screw it
sorry about your friend

Eric, sorry to hear of your loss of a good friend ... at least he lived a pretty healthy life and didn't suffer (from the sound of things).
