Now I just figured I'd ask first but I'm thinking about getting a Instroke Cue Case and I have a question about there products . Now are the cases that say they are real leather , real Leather or are they just a very think vinyl to look like leather . ???

Rob

Cowboy Series -- leather
Buffalo Series -- leather
Geo Series -- "recycled" leather
Premier Series -- pretty nice vinyl

Also if anyone around hear has one my next question is how do you like it . ? Is it worth the money to spend on one .

Rob

i think they are one of the best cases around. great design, great protection, good quality. the only thing is that they are on the heavy side, but that is to be expected from any leather case with individual tubes.

I have a cowboy case and it's great very tuff. But the traid in is it is very heavy. The only time I notice it is when I'm at the super billiards expo and I have to carry it around for 10 yours lol the rest of the time it's no big deal. I do feel like I could throw it off the top of my house and my cue would be fine.

Yes they're worth the extra dough for sure. mine's about 3 years old i don't baby it at all and it still looks brand new. it holds my cues snug nothing rattles and imo they feel like the best as far as protection/looks. they're a little on the heavy side but once again imo i think of that as a good thing. i've always associated weight with quality.

i've seen a few real nice instrokes being sold by az'rs in the wanted/sale forum. the price is right on 'em too (none over 250 i think)!

Best protection!
And vinyl ones are best protection for the money!
These cases set the standards that everyone have copied since they came out.

:-) Including me!
Especially you....

John, I know you said that you've been inspired by others, and hats off for admitting it and giving the credits to those who deserve it. I think that the Cowboy design should be admitted the Pool's Hall of Fame.
There was a time before the custom cases hype that almost all pros had an Instroke case and many of them still do.

After lookin at some case's I think I'm going with this one , thank you everyone .

I have one my self and after being stationed in Alaska for a few winters i must really say its worth its weight in Gold. My 3X7 is heavy but after watching it fall down the stairs a few times in the barrecks its the best production case out there for looks and durability.

i knew a guy that had his accidently run over by a small pickup truck and his cues were fine, case got mauled, but the cues were protected

I agree about the cowboy case being the breakthrough case for the pool playing populace who wanted a secure AND stylish way to protect and transport cues.

I got a chuckle when you thanked John for acknowledging his inspirations. Do you know who "invented" the instroke cases?

I know that John is the founder and inventor of Instroke, but as he stated himself in the past on this board, he was partly inspired by Jay Flowers and he started out with the idea of improving the Flowers case, protection wise.

I have a cheap Instroke case that I picked up in Vegas for 40 bucks. I've had it for about 10 years and it's never done me wrong! It's been through hell and back...very durable. Just thought I'd give some props to Instroke cases :D
