It is hard to argue with your picks, and clearly Parica out is the largest upset. Did Souquet give up less games than the other players who went undefeated? Have more break and runs?

The action today should be fierce! I think there will be several groups that go to tiebreakers.

Going by stats, I think Dennis Hatch has a better win % than Ralf.

Mike Zimmerman played very well yesterday, as did Howard Vickery.

I'm bummed that my buddy TK is out of it so soon. He was practicing very hard to get ready for this event. Maybe next time.

As far as upsets, Warren Kiamco... that's a big upset.

Ralf probably didn't have the best performance, but what a monster he is. It will be great to see some of the action to know who actually did have the best performance.

I'm a little biased toward BG, but who would have predicted that Jose doesn't make it out of the first round?

I can't wait for todays matches to start!

Who is this TK ? Are you back in EP now or still in FL?

TK is Tommy Kennedy - he won some aweful turkey shoot in 1992 called the US Open. lol.

Yes ... I am back in the West Texas town of El Paso. My number is 915-253-1658. Get with me anytime you want to hit 'em.

Blackjack I will take you up on that offer if your serious. I'm not a pro or a guy who thinks he is a pro. I am just a average joe that loves pool. I would love to hit'em with you. Where do you play in EP ?

I usually hit Click's on Airway... & I have an 8 footer at the house. Your choice.

John shmidt was strong.

I was surprised that Robles and Mike Davis were eliminated so soon.

Today should be very interesting.

Jason Miller only had one win. This blows my mind considering he was the master of the table at the dcc last year. I thought he was one of the top American threats to win it all. Today's matchs will probably yield equally surprising results.

But it was close. I watched the end of the match between Ralf and Jimmy Fusco, and I think Fusco was ahead 7-5 with a pretty good shot at winning two of the last three games. It looks like Jimmy would have advanced with that win.
