Once the IPT gets established does anyone really believe that the IPT players will be allowed to play in any other tournament without the IPT being compensated? So will it really matter if dates are the same?
I wonder what will happen if in 2007 some of the IPT events coincide with the WPBA events and there still are a few WPBA women in the IPT. Which event will they play in?
I seriously doubt that any current IPT players will drop out of the IPT just to play in the US Open so Behrman better start working on another date or plan on holding the event in September without any IPT players.

A very well considered post for sure, Jake. Still, I have a feeling that the IPT will leave the little guys alone, for the simple reason that the little guys don't pose any threat at all to the IPT.
I'm guessing that if the IPT proves a successful business venture, most of the other tours (globally, not just in the USA) will become affiliates of the IPT, and may even become qualifying tours for the IPT in the same way that the Nationwide Tour is a qualifying tour for the PGA. Allowing the other tours to stay healthy may, ultimately, be very good business for the IPT, and I' suspect that the powers at the IPT understand this.
We shall see.
