I honestly haven't read the majoirty of this thread, but I'm kinda curious about something John. How come you'll play Danny, and you'll play Kirkwood in Kansas City, but when it comes to playing Larry Nevel in an all-around you ***** out and say your backer won't let you play anywhere but California? Are you really that scared to play Larry in the format we presented to you? Or are you just scared to play him period? Just curious.

you wrote me a message a while back and said larry wanted to play 8ball10ball and one hole. i said no thanks and said ill play same format i played danny. the reason its in cali thats where the guy putting up the money is from and wants it in his poolroom.im not going to chase larry around as hes a great player and kinda tough to fade otherwise.again so you or larry dont misunderstand the all around challenge is open to any american .frankly im not putting up the money so i would just assume play anybody as its the best way for me to stay sharp win or lose. furthermore ive played larry a total of about 12 hours of gambling and tourney pool even.im 3 games winner total so hes not stealing in case your wondering.thanks for bringing up that im a pussy though .of course thats coming from someone who uses a screename to insult people .

So get someone else to put up the money and play Larry a different format. TheActionReport is great and they do a lot for pool, but every ****ing challenge doesn't have to be based around what they do. I never once said Larry was stealing, I think it's a pretty fair game to be honest. Also, I never said you were a pussy. I will however call you a ****ing nit though. You have no real gamble in you. You beat Danny Harriman, big ****ing deal. Now you're playing Jason Kirkwood, another lesser player. Don't get me wrong, both of those guys can play, but neither are at your level. If you don't wanna play anyone with some real speed, then just ****ing say so. Oh, my name is Patrick Smith though. Just so you know who's insulting you from now on.

The game is on the table. 8-ball, 9-ball, one-pocket. Bet $10,000. It's up to you what you want to do.

John's playing $10k sets and he's a nit and has no gamble? This is a joke right? As for playing lesser players, well I'm not to sure of that either. But even if he was, that makes good sense to me...I'd beat all the little fish, before getting to the whales.

The next time Patrick that you are playing one of your weekly $10k sets, I will like to come and watch. I've never played for over 1K before....I guess I'm a super nit.

John's a nit IN MY EYES because he's only playing lesser players and makes up bullshit excuses to play anyone with some real speed. He trys to say his all-around challenge is open to any American when it's really only open to any American that will play exactly the way he wants, where he wants and when he wants. If you try to change anything at all he backs out. You have to be able to adjust now and again. Sorry for having my own ****ing opinion though.

So Nevel wants to play 8 ball, 10 ball, and one pocket. Is that not dictating a specific game? Most of these guys, including Nevel, are being backed. If a backer says that I'll back you, but you have to play in California, then John's at that backers mercy. Nevel himself admitted that he does not have his own money to play anyone, does that make him a "nit"? Many posts ago, Nevel offered to play people for $5 a game, does that make him a "nit"?

For John to lose to Harriman in the first action challenge, then return to Danny's home court and try him again, shows heart in my opinion. I'm no fan of Harriman, but he put 3 100 ball runs on John in the straight pool part, which I'd have to say is pretty darn good pool. Certainly not 2nd rate. John comes back and wins a hill/hill one pocket set. The difference being either down 20k or even? That doesn't sound like a "nit" to me.

no hard feelings patrick but i guess im a nit then.by the way i had to go to k.c. to play danny because he beat me the first time.also if you would like i could bet you real high that ive played more world class players even for big money than most guys on tour.also to talk like harriman and kirkwood are complete jokes is an insult to them they are both great players and you know it or should know it.

Everytime someone posts on here and it isn't what the masses think they get shit on for it. It's like ****ing high school on these forums most of the time. Either you're with the popular crowd and think and do what they think or your an outsider and people look down on you like you're not an actual person capable of actual thought. I didn't get to see it live and the video just appeared on the website. I was looking forward to this match and it didn't disappoint. I wish Sigel would get back into competition, at least show up for a few tournaments but he must be making enough on his cues that he doesn't need to play any more. I thought Sigel was finished after he messed up a safety and left Schmidt a shot but John missed a ball and that was all Sigel needed.

I hope the IPT continues to show straight pool because I love to watch the game.

John is a nit because he wont play the way Larry (or you, who knows if Larry has any idea what you are spouting here) wants , but Larry is the man because he won't play John in an established format that there is an OPEN challenge for.

Got it. Makes total sense.

If you can't make a game with a John maybe you guys can play some 10 ball with our other Champion Alex. The game is 10 ball, race to 100, $10K. I will not call you or Larry names if you turn it down.

So there you have it $20K in action. In a safe and controlled atmosphere with the players getting money on the back end from DVD sales win or lose.

It's real easy, just say the word and we will get it together. No BS, no woofing, no name calling just money on the light.

I remember John Shmidtty posting a list of players that he did not want to play One Pocket, I think he had my name on that list. Some of the players he had allready won against were on that list, so look out Here comes John with his list of players that he won't play. I don't think John will find a backer to play me One Pocket, if anyone wants to back John playing me a set of One Hole for 10 or twenty dimes then please PM me.
