Ironic that Daulton is facing his sponsor Nick Varner this am

It is a tough break when this happens. These 2 will treat the match as if it will be their last set....I would love to see this one...TV table match hands down...i wonder why the scheduler didnt think so???

I agree--that would be a very entertaining match to watch on the stream.

If I followed this match correctly Shannon was on the hill up 10-6 and Nick came back to win 11-10. Must have been a very exciting match!

Nick has had several nick names, but for the rest of the tournament, I'm calling him, No Quit Nick.

Shannon was up 10-6 and never got another shot.

WOW!

Nicky has been doin' that his whole career. He dug in deep and beat Efren in effies home court during Efrens prime yrs. I'd Bet he's come back and won MORE matches when his opponent was on the hill than ANY other pro, ever, he's like a wolverine.

Same thing happened to Bustamante vs Hohmann in the quarterfinals of the WPC in 2003. Hohmann, fueled by this escape, went on to win that world nine ball championship. Happened again a couple of years later when Wu came to the table trailing Po Cheng Kuo 16-12 in the race to 17 and ran out the set to win the world nine ball championship.

Best to keep the great ones in the chair!

Ain't that the truth, Nick had me 3-1, then I had em 6-3 @ the Riv World 8 Ball, and he did the near impossible on a 9' er and won 7-6.

Two of everybodys favorite and "all-around talented" champions! Great guys too!

Shannon D

Dalton just got put out of the tournament by Tommy Kennedy, 11-10.

Well, Nicky is on the stream this evening vs. Rodney. I can't wait to watch, and here's hoping Nick has a flashback to circa 1989.
