Funny things are funny. Stupid things are just stupid. Your post was just stupid. When it isn't funny and has no merit either one, it's just becomes something useless that was a waste of everybody's time. I guess there are some strange people that might find it funny, or that might have found some merit in there somewhere, but those that didn't can certainly give that opinion.

I smile with happy stuff and laugh with funny stuff. Your post had neither. Didn't even have a good point in it anywhere. It was just dumb. You should chill out some though as what people find humorous is just a preference and I know there are others out there who do enjoy stupid things.

I know your heels are dug into this, so I probably won't like the response I get. If you thought it was so stupid, unfunny, or pointless, why would you spend time responding to it? I found it to be very funny, once I realized it was a joke.
 
What if I told you it's possible to not find something funny AND appreciate the fact that other people will and neither of you are wrong.

I just didn't think he had a good point and was commenting only on the point it seemed he was trying to make, and that was intended to be my only post. Then JAM wasn't understanding the thread, and the subsequent responses, and so I explained it to her to help her out and because she was feeling insulted by a post that probably wasn't intended to be a shot at her. Wouldn't have posted anything else but then the OP essentially said that his thread was inherently funny and that I must be humorless to not see the humor in it, and so I felt compelled to correct him by pointing out that humor is not universal and not everybody finds the same things funny, especially things that are silly or stupid. And now I am just answering the question you asked. There you have it for the reasons for each of my posts. :thumbup:
