this probably isnt the right place for this post, but was just curious if some of the cue collectors on here dabbled into anything else?>?

sold my cherrry red ES-335 years ago for too little.
still have my Martin D28 (blue case era, but it is a good one nonetheless).

Strangely enough...marching snare drums. I have probably 15 or more spanning the late 70's through much more modern drums.

Same here...I sold my '65 Fender Jaguar several years ago for a song and dance. Now I have a Taylor acoustic and a 93 Fender Telecaster (USA).

I have a 1964 Gibson J-45 Acoustic I bought in North Carolina for $75. I also have a 1970 Gibson Les Paul Custom.

I dont know much about guitars but I was given a 30s model National Dobro. Do yaw know anything about them?

You're probably the same low-balling SOB who bought my ES-335! :p Seriously, that's a fantastic deal!

> Most of my stuff was destroyed in the house fire I discussed in the "addicted to pool" thread. I managed to save a Charvel Model 5,and a Jackson Custom Shop Dinky Reverse. I lost 2 USA Jackson Soloists,a San Dimas Charvel,my amp, which was a Mesa Mark 3,and the effects rack, which was all Rockman stuff and a Furman PQ-3. I sold the Jackson shortly after the fire, but still have the Charvel. My only amp now is a Line 6 Spider 2 112. The San Dimas I lost would have been a nice trade for the tangerine Searing, all original hardware and finish, and still had the price tag. Tommy D.

I had a 1980 D-28 that I lost in a pawn shop in 1999 for only $300.00 I haven't picked up a guitar or gone to a pawn shop since:(

My brother in the 1970's sold a cherry ES-335 AND a reverse Firebird for $180!! Those guitars are worth about 5K today.

I have a blonde all maple Guild .. very crisp tone. Also an Ibanez 335 copy.

Sadly, I lost my mojo and don't play anymore but when I was in a university, I was expert at flunking out of classes and trying to be next Talking Heads.

sigh ... 80s ... what a decade.

At one time I played the electric bass but when my son left for college he took the bass and the amp with him which pretty much ended my career.

World War 2 memorabilia

Panhdlce has owned just about every expensive guitar

I just have a lowly 56 les paul Jr. with the origional hardshell california girl case. I might be selling it soon to pay for kids pharmacy college tuitions. I have had it since 78 and man I can play just never do. Nick

7 guitars

I have got 7 guitars in my small collection. Same of them are very nice like an acoustic Takamine, 2 Ibanez custom, and more..........I don't play much more .......
Thanks.

Have bought and sold guitars and amps since 1959, paid $150 in the past for 59 Les Pauls, you name it, I've owned it and guitars and amps are just what they are, guitars and amps, no godlike fixations here. All I own & play is a 1937 Martin D-18
