Why is danutz selling cues that are fakes and NOT stating that in his FS threads on eBay??????????

The fact that he doesn't state that tells me all I need to know about him.

Yep. Interesting thread to say the least. Cuemakers, please read the "danutz" posts and never act like this in a forum or in a business dealing and you probably will be very successful. Oh, how does the danutz like my new sig line... I think it is da-nutz ;)

One of my best and oldest friends is named Dan. And UTZ make some nice chips. http://www.utzsnacks.com/

I'm starting to hate them both a little bit by association.

It looks like the whole fake cues thing started with this guy, as he's not going any further back to show where HE got it.

Not if you came out immediatly with some kind of damage control, did the right thing, and stopped pawning "fake" cues on ebay on unsuspecting folks while acting like you don't know. You're a friggin cuemaker for heavens sake. But instead, you just completely buried yourself here and made yourself the complete fool. Oh, the new sig line feels nice too :)

Yes, i agree. I am pretty sure he made them and signed them as well.
Just look at his -E- cues for sale. Very similar ring work.
Guy has no character, no class. Just a small timer, "nickel and diming" here and there.

Wrong. You're own actions, lack of integrity and your crude responses have potentially cost you thousands in the future. If you want to call people names, you need to look in the mirror dude, you come across as a POS and a whiney biatch. Your refusal to man up and act with integrity says it all.

The 6 months lapse in time is totally and completely irrelevant as, purposefully or inadvertently, you misled the buyer. It is cause and effect. Had you sold him the genuine product you advertised it to be, he wouldn't be asking for a refund. As the Seller, you take on the total responsibility of validating the product you're selling. 6 months lapsed because it took that long to determine the product was counterfeit. The ONLY mistake the buyer made was trusting your word.

If you had an ounce of sense and integrity, you'd apologize and make things right. Given your responses and actions to date, I hope nobody is holding their breath waiting for that to happen.

Ironic, as when CO Nineballer was selling the fake purpleheart cue, this guy "authenticated" the cue as a ST cue, stating "Yep, that is him. It is one of Eric's cues". I mean, he knows his ST cues as he said in another thread "I personally own 4 Sugartree cues and sold 2 more. I think i can tell if this cue looks like Eric's."

call me madcap but I've come to my final conclusion over danutz's role in this.

the entire az community owes a big debt of gratitude to the op for placing a spotlight on this guy and his bad deeds.

thank you ohplayer for that, and also, thanks to co nineballer, another victim, who laid out facts while staying on the high road.

l said it before and will say it again now; the az community is like a big lie detector machine. you're not gonna get much past this group. :thumbup:

of course, danutz wanted to give a fast explanation that it was some guy at a tourney (probably the black guy, right? - lol) who sold him all these fakes, then he (danutz) wanted to be "movin on" away from this subject.

a final thank you to mr wilson for 'el kabong-ing' this guy from our midst.

Thanks for the feedback Kicken Chicken, and thank you Mr. Wilson. It was obvious that this guy has no plan of remotely trying to square up on his end. Just for all of the curious, I will call tman561 today and let him know about this thread, and will get the cue shipped back to him. I know he is going to file a claim against Danutz, but I have a feeling that is going to be a tough battle as well. I am not sure this guy feels any obligation to anyone. I will try to get back to this thread at some point once we have some resloltuon (or lack of) just to give all an update. Thank you to everyone who chimed in constructively, and tried to help talk some sense into Mr. Scott (Danutz). Maybe if I am back through Witchita again, I can match up with him for a couple of Thousand!!! I have never claimed to be a champion or "Stone Cold Hustler" like he is, but I am pretty sure I would give it a shot. And of course I don't need him to post the money, as a matter of fact he can hold the money. He seems to be an extremely trustworthy guy.

My point? To be blunt, my wish is people like you to just shut it .... it's way too many posts to scroll over ... but there is always one person in this type of thread who wants to be "in". Now you are tied with the banned person as most prolific poster in this thread.
