It appears the person selling/producing fake Sugartrees is an AZ regular!

I see you are skirting away from the fact that you looked at the signature on the fake purpleheart cue and said "Yep, that is him. It is one of Eric's cues" ...

My point? To be blunt, my wish is people like you to just shut it .... it's way too many posts to scroll over ... but there is always one person in this type of thread who wants to be "in". Now you are tied with the banned person as most prolific poster in this thread.

How may do I own??? Not that it matters but I got you at CHECKMATE :grin-devilish:

Did you really? If that what you think? Boy, you need help, not a hug.
God help you!

Although I could be wrong, everyone's wrong once, I believe mr. danutz has seen that his scam is uncovered and his reputation on this forum is just about ruined and any further sales on this forum would be hard to come by so he probably got himself thrown off the train and will shortly be back under a new alias with a clean slate. Boy, that was a long sentence!

Hi Dick;

Yes, unfortunately, I thought the exact same thing.

He most likely will be back here on az.

I hate when you buy multiple fake cues from an unknown seller at a tournament. I sure hope you guys don't meet again!

Anyone looking for a Szamboti let me know...

CHEAP!!! I know a guy who knows a guy....

What does it look like?

I don't know, what do you want it to look like!!!

Wow, this guy is a real piece of work. Glad it wasnt my money. I think I would have to show up in his town one day, but I'm old school.

Hi Brian,

I own a cue which appears to be the brother of the BB you loved so much. As a personal favor to you, I'll part with it for One Million Dollars. Oops, I mean One Billion Dollars. Had it authenticated by Danutz last week . What do you think? Do we have a deal  :speechless:?

I'm sorry but that's just weak... And you must be a wanna be politician ... just how you are flip flopping side, skirting the real issue and yada, yada, yada

Oh .. and I don't normally play the reputation game but I took your .22 and fired back .44 Magnum cartridge at ya :bash:

Hidy Ho <--- This will my last post in this thread ... and I do keep my words.

Everything you've posted doesn't prove anything.
1st)He said he thought it was a Sugartree but said it wasn't.
2)He never said it was a Gus but said somebody had there initials put in
the cue.
Look, lots of guys buy things off of ebay and sell it on AZ to
turn a profit.Unless you have clear-cut proof thats he's ripping
people off than its all your own speculation.
Dragging his name through your conclusions isn't fair at all.You should delete this thread before it gets ugly.

isn't that first purple heart cue the one eric walked his brother through building?

lol!

holy crap, now we have to be even more alert because since all of this, if someone says the cue they're selling is "danutz"; you better run in the other direction.

Karma strikes again. Don't mess with the combined detective power of AZB. Now we need to figure out a way to stop people from getting scammed in the first place.

Again I propose that we have a bad dealer's thread that's moderated by several seasoned and respected members. Similar to the good action list this one would be a bad action list.

Have it be so that the AZB handles and real names are listed and links to pertinent threads under those names. Keep it simple, not any replies in that thread. Simply a list with links and whenever a seller/buyer agree that a situation is resolved then the panel can remove the name from the list or leave it up if they feel it should stay there. But maybe at least with a note that the situation was resolved.

If nothing else it will stand as a HUGE warning to those who come here and try to scam the community.

Lastly may I suggest a different kind of escrow? There is a marketplace where the money is sent to a middleman and only released when the buyer says he received the product and it's in good condition. This would be similar to posting the money when you gamble. I suggest that any seller who is new should agree to these terms or vice versa if it's a new buyer working with an established seller.

Looking at the volume of deals done the amount of negative ones are relatively low but that doesn't really reduce the severity of them and the pain. To me $600 is an amount of money that I can afford to lose but I certainly will feel it if I do. No one likes to be scammed for any amount and I feel that as a community we should be able to enact some better safeguards against it.

Honestly in a few weeks the name Danutz will fade from from view and there won't be any connection to the ebay auctions and the real name, the thread will be buried. But if there is a sticky with a list prominently displayed on every WFS page then prospective buyers/sellers only have themselves to blame if they don't spend some time studying it and acquainting themselves with the various scoundrels and the scams they pull. As well it serves to highlight the various ways that deals can go bad between people who are not out to scam each other but who act less than honorably when the deals go bad.

you obviously don't know him, old hidey has had a bit of a cue buying obsession over the years

Do not know him, do not want to know him.
The guy needs help. Professional help. Reading his posts, i can only see one obsession - that is obsession with drugs. He is totally delusional.

U don't know me from Adam, but, let me tell ya that Ho is a well rounded and grounded cue pimp that, if u have an opportunity, is a pleasure to deal with.

He's one of the GOOD folks.

You are correct. The name Charles Scott Edwards of Wichita, KS (danutz) needs to be remembered by anyone looking to purchase a cue online.

He isn't going to change his EBay name. Might be a good idea to save him on your seller list and keep tabs on his future dealings. If anyone sees anything out of line again, just keep reporting his fakes.

Didn't care to get involved in this melee but I take it that he has a bit of experience in the cue world. Just can't get my head around the fact that a person would buy a handful of ST cues from an unknown for what ever price he paid and not know what he had his hands on. Even myself and I'd like to think the rest of us here wouldn't fall for it either.

That and it does look like the ring work on his custom cues and the fake ST cues were very similar from the pics that I looked at. Am I correct in this assumption?

Take a look at my sig line... Thanks to the Blue Hog ridr.

Anyone not taking what ribdoner has to say extremely seriously is making a real big mistake. Take it to the bank.
