Last night was the 8-ball league payout, my team came in first again this session to a good natured (I think) round of boos.
I was crowned the King of break and runs with 10.
Today I played one pocket with my normal opponent and beat him 6 straight games while occasionally mentioning how good it was to be the king.
He got rather upset and quit, it was a lot of fun for me, him not so much.

I think you should take the money and go to a trophy shop and get a crown trophy. Ideally a crown you could wear with Run Out King on it. It might cost more than $30 but it would be totally worth it. Way better than an APA patch or whatever.
