I wonder when the decision was made and when they planed on telling somebody? Lets face it, it was for all purposes canceled after or even before Reno. Without your pressuring Deno, I wonder when they were going to make an announcement, the week of the tournament? I hope you asked him that. I never really understood all the nice things people always say about Deno, he has been a conceited, condescending jerk every time I ever met him. The funny part is, he has so little to be conceited about.

They just figured it would be best to milk this cow to death. It's time to move on. Too bad a few in the herd showed up, or should i say too bad there ca$h showed up.

What the crap is all of this? Postponement? Not cancellation? Is this in any way impacting the "smaller" tourneys/venues that probably had to rearrange their schedules to accomodate the dates of this tour?

Look on the bright side. At least the IPT won't be interfering with the Mosconi Cup now.
 
I've been in China for two days. Trying to post but unable to. None of this surprises me. Once Reno was unpaid, the end was inevitable. They hung on only to steal more money. Thus all the stalling.

They came in with a bang, and go out with a whimper. Now that Ho has died, KT has a convenient excuse. I believe that because of continuing to accept money via credit card, a crime has occured. I hope they go after these guys.

Don't let them off the hook.

I can't help but wonder what the reason is for this "postponement" is does the guy even give a reason? I mean if the guy is trying to be proffessional then he should give a reason.

I think Jay meant "the deal with Ho died" (if it ever was)

There has been no official announcement from the IPT as yet. So far, all we have is Eydie posting what she had heard, and Deno calling her and pitching a hissy-fit over her choice of "cancelled" vs. his preferred weasle-wording, "postponed until....." Reason? They don't need no stinkin' reason. They don't owe anyone any answers, in their narrow view of the world.

Man, KT is going to play that one to the hilt. I'm sure he will spin it as a "personal deal, ya know, just between us billionaires, that certainly couldn't go on after, Mr. Ho, my good friend, confidant, and personal mentor passed away unexpectedly, gawd rest his soul." That way he can insulate himself from Ho's survivors denying there ever was a deal in the works.
