Hotels are not cheap anywhere in NYC, but I may have to do a road trip as well. Since I can't make the US Open, this won't be a bad substitute.

Another option is to stay in Jersey City and take a PATH train to the poolhall. There is a PATH stop at 14th and you walk 2 avenues over, to ABC.

Not a bad idea...they do have two special gated tables in the front...incase they want to do it simultaneously
could be a good idea for an undercard race to 20 on afternoon of the final day

Agreed. Jersey City to Amsterdam is a 15 min train ride and you will save a lot of money on a hotel staying there. In the middle of the night, will take you longer, but its not bad.
 
Since this is a MezzUSA sponsored event...will there be Mezz Products on hand to purchase, ie a Magic Rack? or Patches?
