I guess they want the best player in the tournament. This cracks me up. They chop off their nose to spite their face, now they want to cover up their error.

Jasmin should tell them she requires a thousand dollar appearance fee to play any more WPBA events. This is why player organizations should never have any power to regulate player behavior at all.

WOW that is just SO nice of them! That will undoubtedly make them look like Dumb & Dumber.....
With just a smidgen of sense they could have just warned her in the beginning and made sure the other members were cautioned also and been done with it..

I don't really see what incentive Jasmine will have for coming back to the WPBA, especially if it's going to cost her $1000. She has proven she can compete with the big boys so what's stopping her?

Some of you should re-read the press release. The WPBA did not change their minds, an independant Appeals Committee reviewed the facts and upheld the WPBA's original decision...they simply amended the penalty.

And no, I will not argue the merits of the original decision. The entire discussion is on a previous thread.

That sucks....as little money as these poor gals make in tournaments, a thousand bucks is a lot of money....I hope she doesn't do a "Jean Balukas" on them...........
