Last year there was a good turnout of pros. Frost, Parica, Ernesto, Oscar, Ellerman. Anyone know what big names are coming this year? Johnny Archer?

Actually I think Sylver is coming, and of course Oscar, Ernesto and Parica will be there. I expect Scott Frost and Ellerman as well. There might be some after hours One Pocket action between Scott and Sylver. There are always some good players who drop in. Last year Rich Geiler came all the way down from Tacoma. This year the first prize will probably be around 3K, so it's not a bad little event to win. Rumor is some players from Tulsa are headed this way. We'll just have to wait and see who makes it.
Nice, I watched Sylver and Scott match up playing one pocket last year. Jay, I heard there is going to be a mini on Friday night, any truth to that?
Yep, sign ups at 6 PM. $25 entry fee, $500 added. I just found out that we have approx. 90 players already entered in the main event. I strongly suggest if you don't want to get shut out, come in on Friday night and pay your entry. Or be there very early Sat. morn, like 9 AM.

I heard Tang may come as nudist! It may be the last year at Hollywood Billiards if he does.

I really wanted to go and stream this as I am only 5-6 hour drive away and I have never been to this tournament. From what I was told there was a venue problem and not to waste my time so no Swanee for me, not sure if the internet is no good there or there is no room to setup or whatever the case but I know there will be some great play.

ahh geeez i was gonna say tar streamed there. then i double checked and seen it is at hollywood and not hardtimes as i thought for some reason.

Paid my entry today...so I will be there this year. Missed last year due to the flu...so I am trying to stay germ-free for the next 2 days
This will be my first time at this tourney and my first trip time in Cali. Im excited! Heading over there tonight, the legit hotel is the downtowner, I hope it's nice. Free parking, walking distance and about 80 $ a night. See y'all there!

There's a few motels nearby, going East on Hollywood Blvd. toward Western and beyond. A Quality Inn and a Day's Inn I know about. There are more in the area. Maybe check on Priceline.
i think max eberly is going to be there. i'm not real "in the know" on these things though.
Fast...wish you were streaming it! The internet connection is not that strong at Hollywood Billiards. Very spotty.
Mitch isn't playing this year? That's too bad, he has a really big game. I enjoyed watching him last year.
